I prefer not to because if we do, we would HAVE TO take Yakupov and we don't need another winger under 6' tall, we need a bog, strong centre with size and skill a la Malkin, Staal, Getzlaf etc.

- Desharnais getting 60 points (9 more)... although 65 would be immense
- Pacioretty cracking 30 goals (4 more)
- A hat trick at home
- A loss against Edmonton (pains me to say it)
- More highlight reel hits by Emelin

Predictions :

- Markov comes back in top shape after the 4 game road trip and silences the critics by scoring 10 points in 12 games.
- Edmonton surpasses Montreal in the standings
- Montreal gets the 2nd overall pick
Edmonton starts winning some games.

We're 2 points away from Oilers. I wouldn't mind we lose 2 games on purpose to be ahead of Oilers in the tank (2nd to last place)

This is just bizzare to me. "Lets hope we don't pick first and are forced to pick the clear best player in the draft, we need a different less good prospect".

Draft Yakupov, then give Parise 10M/year and tell him he'll play with Yapu.

My biggest win is to end up bottom 3 and win the draft lottery to get the top pick. A follow up wish is that the team makes the right choice and gets a top end talent that pans out! As for the remainder of the season I would like to See MaxPac hit 30 goals and DD hit 65. Also would be nice to have 5 guys hit 50 points which we have an outside chance of seeing with 4 guys (MaxPac, DD, Cole and Plekanec).

Prediction is we will end up with a top 5 pick, Randy will lose his job and possibly also Gauthier.

On wing we have:

Pacioretty
Cole
Leblanc
Bourque
Gionta
Avstin
Kristo
Gallagher
Holland

At centre we have:

Plekanec
Desharnais
Eller
White

Tell me something, do you prefer Yakupov at the wing or Grigorenko/Galchenyuk going forward? Even if we have the 1st overall pick, why would we NOT draft the next big centre STAR in this league?

Fairly obviously from my last comment, Yakupov.

Seriously, your argument is we should pass over the best player in this years draft (by a decent amount imo) because we have the likes of Bourque, Gionta, Avtsin and Kristo?

Tell you what, if we trade Bourque, can we have Yakupov?

Exactly. No urgent needs at center. We need a sniper and a real superstar. But i doubt we will be able to draft first overall. Then, of course, habs will turn to Grigo or Galchenyuk... or tyharde that high pick for Rick Nash ! ?

A healthy, capable Markov. Nothing else is nearly as important. The Habs won't finish below Columbus and their only hope of finishing 29th is a continued slump for Edmonton. I wouldn't count on that because the Oilers have very talented rookies who could catch fire in the remaining games simply because they're young and eager to show what they can do.

We can trade the pick to who ever has # 3 and get extra pick as well, I'm sure lots of teams would be calling and giving us great packages now it only depends who is our GM, if it's still Gauthier I will be really scared on what possible stupidity he will do

Definitely worth listening to offers...

If we're in the 3-5 range on drafte day, and some team in the 6-12 range is willing to give us their 1st + a considerable ++, I'd be all ears.

Yea I'd rather we lose and get the second pick so we would HAVE to take Grigorenko. He's what we need anyway.

Except we wouldn't have to draft anyone.

My wish is the Habs go 1-15 for the rest. The 1 win coming vs the leafs in the last game to keep them out of the playoffs.

After the season fire everybody, PG, Gainey, all coaching staff.

Hire Mcguire and Brisbois as the GM team.

Have a top 3 pick and draft Grigorenko or Galchenyuk.

Lars Eller gets to 20 goals, Max and Cole both get to 30.

Markov comes back and holds up with no setbacks.

Price gets rested down the stretch but shines as the #1 goalie at the WC

Day after the season, Burke and Cherry agree to a "loser-leaves-town" match at the ACC with Glenn Healy as special guest referee. Match ends in double DQ so they all GTFO.

Habs win draft lottery. Trade the pick for Vinny L which shuts down the site.

Well, maybe not that past one.
