I dunno. I think a playoff contender could pay nicely for a "healthy" Mueller at the deadline. He's exactly the kind of safety net teams look for going into a playoff run, especially if they can get him for picks/prospects.
How is Mueller looking since his return? I know there's a lot of high praise of him being the most talented on the Avs when healthy, etc. being thrown about, but besides that big game, he only has 1 point in his other six games back. Is he back for REAL or was that game a flash in the pan? I'm asking because I'm interested, not because I want to stir things up. It just seems like he's been held off the score sheet all but twice since returning (small sample size, I know) and I'm just wondering if you guys genuinely expect him to be as effective as it sounds reading this thread. I mean, I see a lot of Avs fans saying he's your most talented player but I don't see him ever putting up Duchene/Stastny numbers. What kind of expectations do you have for a healthy Mueller over the next 35 games?

He's been looking real dangerous for the Avs since his return. I think many Avs fans here can back it up, that he's easily looked the most offensively dangerous player on the ice in most situations, and that is because he does have a "shoot first" mentality.
The line with him with Stastny and Galiardi on the other wing is looking real good, generating a lot of scoring chances.

For a guy that's played in under 10 games in 2 years I say, he's been fantastic. He has been one of the most dangerous avs players offensively since his comeback. IMO his worst game was last night but I think it has something to do with 3 games in 4 nights and Galiradi taken of his line. Once, Duchene comes back and Mueller improves on his conditioning, I expect him to start picking it up big time on the score sheet.
I don't think he's the most talented player on the avs but he's probably in the top 3. I also think he could/should hit better numbers going forward than Stastny.
Why are people wanting to trade the guy? I doubt we could even get a 5th round pick for him at this point, no one is going to want to go near him right now. He's MUCH more valuable to us on our roster than he is as trade bait.
Is Mueller going to be playing in the next few games or is he a healthy scratch for the foreseeable future?
I hope he isn't but you never know with Sacco.
I'd rather have Mueller instead of Hejduk or Duchene but because they are Hejduk and Duchene they won't get scratched. So the only guy he will replace will be Kobasew.

I think he will be in against the Canucks. We lost both games he has been out. Sacco makes his decisions on results. I'm not sure who's place he will take though. Definitely don't want to see Olver out. He really wound up the Canucks the other night.
