oh, yeah. you'd think MSG could get some "higher level" major corporations as sponsors rather than having crappy "local" commercials by a large majority.
Hockey has so much less commercials than any other sport though.
major corporations like to advertise on things that are nationwide. MSG serves a very small market (compared to NBC, or ESPN, or some other major channel). Localized channels tend to do better with local ads.
Hockey definitely has less commercials during gameplay, but there are 2 fairly long intermissions for tons of commercials.
