I missed WJF but only b/c I block him...begs the question if he is a self professed Winnipeg Jets Fan, why is he on here? He has his own team to complain about?

He does but they are winning vs Buffalo right now.

My loyalty stayed with the yotes. I'm not going back to the Thrashers/Pseudo-Jets now.

And, yes. I missed my hissy-fits and meltdowns last month too. It's good to be back.

Even with the recent slide, Phoenix still controls their own destiny for the playoffs. There's basically a 9-team pack that's got two games up on the next two (Calgary and Colorado).

A lot can happen in 16 games, but no sense in inching toward the ledge just yet.

You can't. We need all of you guys to join all our guys for our "Klesla for 2013 All-Star" write-in campaign.

Even though the Kings making the playoffs would give our team their first-rounder (as opposed to next year), we don't want it to come at your expense. We want it to come at Chicago's.

You guys played well and didn't deserve to lose this one. Very strong team ethic, and other than St.Louis I don't think I've seen us play a team that gave us as many problems on the boards.

Good luck going forward.
/Pens fan.

Exactly. He shouldn't change a thing. He's doing what he needs to do to score.

Smith let in two early game Bryz-softies. He shut the door after that, and made some great saves. Still, he had clear looks at those first two, qnd they weren't deflected.

Fleury was awesome. Plain and simple.

Fourth game in a row giving up the first goal. Fifth game in the last six. THAT'S what's unacceptable. At least tonight it was only Smith who needed the gut check in the middle of the first. The rest of the team looked ready. Could be fatigue. Weve been riding Smith hard and he hasn't been a starter like this...well...ever...

Too bad our backup goaltender sucks so bad he can't be trusted at all.

Rusty will be back soon. Brule will take Bissonnette's spot. Those two changes alone should be huge.

So Brule being scratched had nothing to do with that injury? I'm only asking because he only played about 7 minutes against Columbus the other night.

I'm pretty sure BizNasty was playing instead because his dad was in attendance, but I'm not positive.

Im sure they wanted to bring him in slowly. CLB was his first game back.

Welcome to "hockey the hard way" Antoine!

Oh and I wouldn't have called that a hook.

Pittsburgh capitalized on a couple of our mistakes and we couldn't bury enough of our chances. Hard to feel as bad about this one as the previous two.

I'd prefer to see the Summers-Stone pairing rather than Summers-Rundblad. I know Rundblad is supposed to be good offensively but he's looked like trash out there. The Summers-Stone pair didn't play too much and we fell behind early in those games and well, but I thought they looked way better.

Still, Summers is promising. When Klesla and Shlemko and Demo are healthy/not taking leaves of absence, I'd want to see:

Yandle-Aucoin
OEL-Klesla
Summers-Schlemko

Morris can stay gone if he wants, I think he's awful, and Rosival can be a healthy scratch.

I thought Boedker had one really strong shift against pittsburgh (in 2nd period i think, he was creating a lot of chances) but he cannot seem to find the net except for in shootouts. shame with all that speed. speaking of cold, korpi has been doing nothing recently!!

we need to ****ing win against cbj

Moved up from a 60% chance of winning to a 61% chance. I take this stuff seriously because ESPN told me so.

ESPN is the be all end all for sports. Beadle likes hockey, so I'm ok with that. And she's hot. Hot girl that loves sports, and knowledgeable about them, nothing better.
