Because this team has been an absolute disgrace today and haven't played well since the Chicago game, maybe minus the last NJ game. This team has been getting by on smoke and mirrors all ****ing year. I honestly don't know how they're not a bubble playoff team again this season. This team must have more fringe NHL players than any team in the NHL.
Because we have Lundqvist. And as long as he is healthy, we will be in most games that we get outplayed in.
So we finally hit a "rough patch" and we are still getting points. We will turn things back around.
I really want to know if the "CALM DOWN GUYS IT'S ONE GAME" crowd realize how bad our defense has been for the past 6 weeks.
They've definitely hit a wall defensively. Even I'll admit that it's time to move Staal to the first pairing, give Girardi a rest and perhaps bring up Erikson!

I admit though, it really stings against the devils. I hate the team so much. But this loss won't let me discredit everything they've done this season.
This team is ****ing garbage. They did ZERO in the 3rd period. ZERO. As soon as Sykora scored on that fluke goal. This team gave up. There's nothing that I like about this team other than Lundqvist. Fluke of a season that will probably end in the first round again. This team has no defense now and their offense is mediocre at best. This team is Lundqvist and nothing else. I'll be SHOCKED if they make it past the 2nd round. This is the worst east leading team ever probably. The Penguins should overtake them soon enough. That's a GOOD team, not this ****ing garbage. GARBAGE. They don't deserve to be leading the east. They've got a comically little amount of talent except for the goalie.
That Girardi turnover was the worst turnover I've seen in a VERY long time, iced the game there.
Haven't seen a goalie play a better game than Hank did tonight while also giving up 3. Had no chance on two of those goals.
This team needs to be better, the way they're playing now they aren't ready to do anything in the playoffs. At this rate and this play they're only going as far as Hank lets them.
Should be interesting 5 weeks coming . Very hard to play this system with out wearing down and injuries starting to take it's toll . Honestly hope our late 1 ST rounder or 2 nd turns out good because not making a deal for some depth was a mistake .
Very hard to win every game on guts and grease . NYR seriously need some wings that can shoot and pass
