Why does it matter if Kaberle's assists are primary or secondary. We should be thankful he's putting up points, at least it makes him more desirable on the trade market.

Kaberle-Gorges
Subban-Emelin
And you're already looking at a more balanced top 4 with better synergy in each pairing.
Only problem is that Gorges and Kaberle are both lefties.

I can't be the only one who, when I hear "Bouwmeester", thinks of "beau monsieur".

probably because if "fans" realize for the most part he is getting meaningless secondary assists, its tough to believe a GM and scouts wouldnt see it either thus it wouldnt make him desirable on the trade market.

Maybe we can package Kaberle and Gomez to the Islanders

It's still better than doing nothing at all.

Bourque and Kaberle are competing for the 'Who can **** up more of Eller's passes' award.

Well not like the status quo is working out is it? Going top heavy then getting extremely thin after gets us burned nightly. I was thinking an even split.
If anything throwing Emelin in the deep end would be good for his confidence and experience. As for Kaberle, I'm confident Gorges is solid enough to insulate.

Seriously, seeing this happen game after game must take a toll on his game. You need at least a bit of trust in your linemate to be a good playmaker.

You know what, I like Eller's accuracy and creativity most of the time when it comes to passing, but I find that sometimes his touch is brutal, and he sends "wobbling" pucks a
lot - often with speed.
