It's all good. Price is playing better than his numbers show this year. He hasn't been bombed in any games as badly as last year (remember he got pulled about 4 times) but he hasn't stolen very many at all. This way we can get him inked to 5M or less and he'll improve if we give him a decent D corps. Carey's kind of given up. What does it matter? Even if he was at his best we'd lose 3 out of every 4 from now on anyhow.
If I was actually cheering for us to win I'd be changing the channel a lot earlier. Now I watch to make sure we lose and man are the Habs one of the best at doing that this year.
Why is Price being compared to Halak? Where were these comparisons last year or at the beginning of this season? Halak has the benefit of playing with a far better team, with a better coach and system. You really think Price wouldn't be beasting in St. Louis? Give me a break. Price is not a top 5 goalie, but he's damn good.

In the first 25 games of the season, playing with Eller, he definitely looked like a 20 goals scorer (was on pace for 30).
He never complained about playing on the third line or with a young center did he? Why mess up with something that worked well?
I laugh when I read how AK is the victim and that he's separated from his linemates when he plays well. The guy would come to play 2 games out of 10, everyone around the league knows that. That's why he was worth a 2nd rounder at the trade deadline and Gaustad went for a 1st rounder. Gaustad is less skilled, but you know what you're gonna get from him night in/night out and he's one of the best players at his position (Bottom 6 forward).
