Well Kulikov has been out for pretty much 6 weeks now. Can't wait to get him back into the line-up. Really enjoyed watching him play at the start of the season and having him in the team takes a lot of pressure off Campbell too.

When Kuli comes back who gets benched? Ellerby or Jovo Ellerby has been improving while Jovo has been playing like crap.

There's no way Jovo is sitting in favor of Ellerby unless he murders someone. Even that might not do it.

Injuries this year have been ridiculous. They haven't played with a full squad all year. Hopefully we get healthy for the stretch run.

Awesome, we could really use Kulikov back in a big way. I still am waiting for Upshall to make an impact. I am hoping he isn't a complete dud.

Does Upshall plan on making an impact at some point? Seriously, he's never been THIS bad.

FlaPanthers: Coach Dineen: Jovanovski was maintenance day, Versteeg not likely to play this week, Kulikov and Upshall out a few more weeks.

What do you think the lines will look like when Steeger gets back?

LW C RW

Bergenheim Weiss Fleischmann
Versteeg Matthias Wolski
Kopecky Goc Samuelsson
Barch Santorelli Skille

I think Wolski and Versteeg are going to create magic in the next couple games, creating very good chemistry for the run to the playoffs.

Flash-Weiss-Versteeg
Bergy-Goc-Kopecky
Wolski-Matthias-Samuelsson
Smithson-Santorelli-Skille (with Smithson taking the faceoffs)

Barch can play when we need him against a tougher opponent; otherwise, I don't think he's in there despite the goal last game.

Sturm/Madden might get some games if Santorelli or even Skille start to struggle.

Skille won't be the first option to sit either.

Of the guys you listed, the primary scratch, at this point, would be either Barch or Santorelli, depending on the opponent.

I don't think Santo can be effective on the fourth line but Dineen certainly won't drop Kopescky down there even though he did well with Smitty and Skille. Plus I think Santo has played his best hockey with Danger and WW. I thought Flash,Goc and WW did well together also

I put Goc and Kopecky together since they shutdown the Spezza line last game. Smithson was on that line too, but with everyone healthy, Smithson goes back to the 4th line. I put Bergy in his spot because Bergy's a good checking line player. Lots of energy, responsible defensively when he's on the ice not taking a penalty. That's also a checking line that can score, as well.

I think we should just put Flash-Weiss-Steeg back together now. I thought we had to separate them before Dineen ever even did it, but I think it's a good time to put 'em back and see if they can get hot again. I thought we had to split them up because we lacked depth but with the addition of Wolski and the likes of Bergy/Goc/Samuelsson, etc. all finally being healthy at the same time, the secondary scoring shouldn't be such a problem anymore.
