I'll be honest. Emelin's D has been very average. But better than Kabs, Weber or Campoli and other than Tomas those 3 bring nothing else to the table. At least Emelin hits and can intimidate. He's a keeper for 2012-13 for sure.

What bothers me is you see us make collapses like this a lot but we never finish off comeback attempts. The number of 1 or 2 goal leads we pissed away in the 3rd would be easier to swallow if we could do the same. But we've got maybe 1 or 2 wins all year like that. Inexcusable. It's like the opposite of those years where we were the Cardiac Habs and made plenty of 3rd period comebacks for W's (2005-08). Those days are goooone baby.

Yup. But People have to realize Cunny is coaching for his future aswell. He wants to look good. He will go with whoever is doing the job (if you can say that) with the group. Emelin is a bit overrated on these boards. I like him, but he still needs some work, unfortunately Cunney is still trying to win games.
