Start Bernier in Columbus.
Speaking of Columbus it would be just like the Kings to lose there and shutout Detroit the following night.

Now that other teams aren't focusing on Kopi/Brown/Williams, they are producing...I expect in the next couple games KBW line draws top D pairings and Richards/Carter/King begin to light the lamp...certainly helps that Nolan/Stoll/Penner have started to create real chances/pressure from the bottom two lines.

This is a dangerous team that nobody is going to want to face in the first round. So excited, Kings have a real chance at the division title, how awesome is that. I called that this year, so if they actually pull that off, I will be super pumped. GO KINGS!!!!!

Well Arnott has a Stanley Cup, and Halak carried Montreal to the semi finals. I say they have a legit shot at making a run

Of the 3 games remaining on this road trip, I think the game against Columbus will be the most difficult.

If we do win that game, I think they totally take Friday off against Detroit and lose like, 8-0

I think so too. Both Johnson and Carter will be approaching that game with something to prove, hopefully the guy we have now prevails in that battle.

As long as carter is on the ice against Johnson, I like the kings chances.

I like the 5 shots, but 1 assist and a -1 (really should have just been an even) is nothing to write home about.

But like I said, I like the shot mentality a lot more then the passiveness.

A step in the right direction. Not exactly doing what was asked but moving that way.

Tonight is the first win in a three game win streak or my name isn't Juan Tran O'Sullivan the third
I was listening to the Pred's radio guys tonight, since I was stuck in my car and they seemed ok . Called it fair. They said not to expect a lot of goals with the way these teams defend, but I don't think anyone had seven goals for tonight. Also the "Where heroes play" line got old quick.

I think they are saying that because the Kings have a tendancy to play down to teams like the Jackets, which would be a huge mistake.

What....lol I said it's a step in the right direction. He had WAY more of a shot mentality this game then other games which I really liked. The goals will come, just gotta keep plugging away at it like he did tonight and not get discouraged.

When did people become so ****ing sensitive about every little word uttered about Kopitar???

Jesus I said something GOOD about the guy and you act like I called his mom a ***** and said he played like ****.

He did well tonight. Am i missing some veiled sarcasm here or something?

He did well tonight. Chill out dude.
It's because he was a monster tonight. He was all around the net and while he only got an assist he his hustle to keep the play alive led to all three goals he was on the ice for. It doesn't help that you counted the -1 against him too. Those were all 100% on Quick and WIllie Mitchell on one for getting turned around and falling over. Kopitar played a fine defensive game.

See, this is just silly. Average? You're being sensational. Eric Belanger is average. Kopitar was everywhere tonight and nashville's announcers were slobbering all over him.

I am sorry but this game will be a measurement stick for me. I want to know who actually watches games, every shift, every pass, every defensive coverage. Kopitar's stats in this game don't mean anything.

Kopitar tonight was one of the best players on ice.

I would really appreciate everyone who disagrees with that statement, to tell me so. It doesn't mean that I will in any way mock you in the future, but it will help me see who is watching games the same way I do. To be honest I will not expect anything besides score sheet analysis from that person in the future. Which is not that bad, we all want the same thing in the end. It's the same as I don't expect my mom to know much about sports. She knows couple of names and that's enough for me.

Sharks, Kings and Avs all tied at 74, Calgary at 72 and Phoenix in 7th at 75. What a race for the final two spots.
