San Jose Sharks

trade deadline has passed and again sharks GM was sleeping while others actively were trading. .. Possible trade baits like Legwand, Hecht now remains in Sharks.

Sharks has now focused on coming entry draft, free agency, finish season with some wins and try to avoid last spot.

Before draft sharks are still hunting for more picks, currently have 7; COL 1, TOR 1, SAN 2, LOS 3, NYI 4, SAN 6, SAN 7.

It is too early to predict who will be in 2012-13 sharks lineup, but here is current guess v.01:

Mikkel Boedker-David Legwand-Jakub Voracek
Colin Greening-Jochen Hecht-Matt D'Agostini
Anthony Stewart-Brian Boyle-Jack Skille
Dale Weise-Casey Wellman-Drayson Bowman

Michael Del Zotto-Bryan Allen
Carlo Colaiacovo-Bryce Salvador
Aaron johnson-Ryan Parent

Jose Theodore
Brian Elliott

Top 20 prospects:
  1. Kirill Petrov

Petrov is playing in Kazan with Ak Bars for the 2011-12 season and is in the final year of his KHL contract. He is still hoping to play in the NHL in the future. In Kazan he has scored 29p in 52g. NYI 3rd rd pick who has size and skills to be top 6 forward in NHL.
  2. Sam Carrick

leads the Battalion in scoring with 59 points in 62 games, surpassing his career-best over the entire 2009-10 season, which culminated in him being taken by Toronto in the fifth round, 144th overall. Carrick is reluctant to take the credit for the Battalion’s success.
Carrick, a solid 6-foot, 207-pound centre, has long been known for his physical play, strong two-way game and willingness to drop the gloves with anyone.
  3. Drayson Bowman

23yrs old forward, 7p in 23 NHL games in Carolina. Potential top 6 forward, but At this point, he is still a work in progress.
  4. Anders Nilsson

A huge goaltender that is technically skilled. In AHL 23g 92.5s%, but struggled in two NHL games.
  5. Matej Stransky -

Dallas stars 6th round pick in NHL, leads WHL Saskatoon in points (62g 35+30 +5). Tomas Kopecky style of player.
  6. Brock Beukeboom
  7. Colby Cohen
  8. AJ Jenks
  9. Brandon Burlon
  10. Nicholas Petrecki
  11. Nick Ross
  12. Jake Hansen
  13. Billy Sweatt
  14. Connor Brickley
  15. Philipp Grubauer
  16. Sondre olden
  17. Brad Malone
  18. Mitch Wahl
  19. Maxim Mayorov
  20. Zane Gothberg

Petrov is one that may yet bite me in the ass. I got him from Washington in one of Josh's first deals, but shipped him back in a subsequent deal. Can't remember how he ended up in San Jose, but based on my history he'll probably join Neal, Pacioretty, Henrique, Stepan et al in swiftly becoming a top-6 NHLer.
