Before the game I'm watching the NFL Network's Top 10 Draft Busts. I love this guy Art Schilcter...
1. Starting QB 4 years at Ohio State, gambled at the horse track while there
2. Drafted 4th overall by Baltimore, never won a #1 role, continued to gamble, arrested
3. Suspended by NFL for betting on football games, gambled away his salaries, arrested
4. In and out of QB jobs for the NFL, arena football, and CFL, arrested
5. Up to 2006 he compiled about 10 years in prison and 44 jails, released and started a foundation for promoting awareness of gambling
And then wouldn't ya know it:
On February 9, 2011, reports emerged that Schlichter is under investigation for fraud. Schlichter was charged with a first-degree felony in connection with the theft of more than $1 million on February 14, 2010. On September 15, 2011 Schlichter was sentenced to 10 years in prison for his involvement in a million-dollar ticket scam. He tested positive for cocaine while serving a house arrest sentence on his fraud charges on January 19, 2012.

Well so much for that life...
Wow. Guy threw away his whole life... looks like we've finally found someone whose career ended worse than Ryan Leaf's.

Alright I just got home and it's tied. What team has looked better during the first half?
First quarter was all Giants (19 Giants plays to 1 Patriots play, with 2 sacs on Manning early and then a safety against Brady and later a touchdown by the Giants). Second quarter was the Pats comeback.

He still managed to stay wealthy for longer than most NFLers lol
Colts release Manning. Wow, expected move for a while but still can't believe it. Dolphins,Redskins,Jets,Seahawks,Chiefs,49ers in the running pretty much ...I think SF would be a really good fit for him

As long as San Fran doesn't sign him, I'm happy. I don't want to see a 49ers team in the playoffs, with their unreal defence and with Peyton guiding the offence, until the last game of the season.

Definitely shocked. Good luck to Peyton, wherever he goes (please, not the Niners... don't need him in my conference,) but damn, what a ton of pressure on Andrew Luck.
