I have a strong dislike for Jagr going back to the Pittsburgh days when he lit up the Whale during his younger years. He would just stand at center ice and hang waiting for the breakaway feed. A man with all that size and he always wore his skirt and turtled it seemed. Props to him for coming back and producing at his age after being gone for awhile though.

I believe Jagr's hip has been haunting him for some time. I think I heard something about him having troubles with his hip during the winter classics aswell.

He took a year off last year because of injuries (retired for good actually) and was GM of KalPa for that year, but returned for this season and KalPa leads FEL right now as regular season comes to an end next Thursday.
He also owns that team

Coach Dineen on upcoming road trip vs. #Flyers and #Pens: "We'll certainly have our hands full." Not sharing goalie choices.

Me? i go with Theo both nights...in fact i ride him till we clinch...but im sure i have the minority opinion on this. Given a choice clearly theo thursday and sunday.

That's weird; Dineen isn't sharing goalie choices.

That works for me.

THU 3/8 @ PHI
FRI 3/9 @ PIT
SUN 3/11 CAR
TUE 3/13 TOR
THU 3/15 BOS

then beat the diver and the laughs, and my thread is happy. In fact, 3 more 6 out of 5s and a split of the last 2 game gives us the magic 94 points. This is the hardest of the remaining last 3 series.

and if you havent seen what ATF did with the schedule for the 6 in 5 here it is its gorgeous:

SET ****************** ********* ********* ********* POINTS VS GOAL DIVISION CONFERENCE PACE
1st 5 @NYI (W) @PIT (L) TB (SOW) @TB(W) @ WAS (L) 6 EVEN  98

The other 3 look really manageable.
We have to go with Theo in both games against Philly and Pittsburgh. He isnt that he cant handle it once. If Clemmense does get a start it should be against Pittsburgh IMO. Philly is more winnable than Pittsburgh..

If Madden is actually flying, Santorelli's playing days are coming to an end.

It would be nice to see Madden come in and contribute. With the offense that Santorelli is putting up, or lack there of, I think Madden would be the better option for the stretch and the playoffs.

Hopefully he can keep with the pace as we approach April 7th.

big huge games coming down the stretch, minus the Carolina games and toronto and minnesota game as all those guys are slumping mightily. the flyers games, penguins and red wings games will a great great test for the guys. proving grounds IMO.

The games against the mediocre teams are just as important.

Indeed. Over the past decade and a bit we've proven beyond doubt that we're plenty capable of losing those "should win" games.
