Meh...he's a rookie; he'll have his ups and downs. He's also been in full grind mode for the past few weeks.

2 more points!
VRP looking like a good first line
Ennis has been flying pretty much every game since he came back from his injury
Myers
Ehrhoff
GLK and BET
Sulzer looked good

Hodgson wasn't too good. All that travel/being with a totally new team might be catching up with him. And he's just slow, but at least he's a guy that's willing to work hard to improve And his passing is better than advertised IMO. or it could look really good since i'm used to watching the sabres' normally piss poor passing
Boyes on the PP
Weber-Regehr pairing

FNC compared to the Jets' rink. After we scored the 2nd goal RJ said something like "and now the crowd's into it." As in, we had about 10 seconds of a let's go buffalo chant going after we scored, and then it was completely silent again.

Yeah, more of a mediocre game for him I'd say. He is still setting up his wingers with nice passes, they just haven't put any away yet.

I've known that he's an all round solid offensive player since his draft year, but his passing has indeed impressed me no doubt. I didn't see tonight's game, but the other night his looks to Ennis and Staff on the power play were unbelievable.

I've never watched a game between the Canes and Sabres that I haven't enjoyed for one reason or another.

Seriously though why is Weber still playing? He is downright awful.

RJ was off a bit at the start, mixed a few names around, but got into rhythm pretty quickly. Neale just kind of floated along for the ride. Although I couldn't help but chuckle at his 'goal off the faceoff' crack, even though it made me first.

Ok, you're serious .... Weber is above Sulzer on the depth chart. He's also above any AHL rookie.

I know it's a really tough position and he is going to play and in all honesty he IS above anyone else on the depth chart.

Guy just frustrates the piss out of me and I wish this weren't the case. lol

I don't know whose worse Gare or Neale. Right after RJ calls, "oh nvm it's Thomas Vanek's goal", Neale goes "and that's Jason Pominville's 24th of the season! Oh wait, that was Vanek" LOLLOLOL

yeah, he just has great touch and accuracy on pretty much all his passes. Almost all of them seem to be tape to tape. Add in his vision/awareness and you've got a great playmaker. As others have said, he wasn't too good tonight, but he is a rookie, he'll have his off nights just like anyone else, and the travel might be wearing him down. He gave staff a sick look on a PP at the side of the net but he didn't score. there was also one play where he had the puck on the wall near the point, flipped a backhand pass to what looked like empty space across the ice and hit stafford in stride with it. Kid makes plays I can't imagine almost anyone else on this roster making

Weber over the past 10 games has actually played pretty well. I have no problem with Weber playing...although he did have a few brainfarts today. But overall, he's been good lately--certainly much better than earlier in the season.

Lol @ Lindy asking Roy if he wanted to break the line up or not...and Roy responds let us work it out.

Oh well kudos to them for having a really good game today. It seemed the Sabres were mad after that no call on Stafford late in the 3rd and really turned it on.

For once we got to watch our team in the other teams zone shooting at THEIR goalie instead of being stuck in our zone.

RJ is 70 and Neale is 75.

I think I'll "suffer" thru the occasional miscues or mistakes by RJ as long as he wants to do the job. Neale is retiring in April so I can deal with it for 4 more weeks.

Fo shizzle, I'll listen to RJ for as long as he wants to keep doing this and is audible.

Agreed. He's been decent over that span recently. He has been exactly what his role requires him to be, a 3rd pairing dman. He certainly hasn't been a liability like Leopold.

One ugly: Although I'm very happy that the Sabres are winning and slowly starting to pull away from Toronto in the standings, it's painful to think that MTL and TOR, two teams with top-line center issues, have a crack at Grigorenko/Galchenyuk before us.

I think it dates back past ten games.

He's prone to a blunder here or there, but he's played some pretty solid hockey.
