"Yingst said possible Hershey-Norfolk game at Verizon Center in 12-13 would be a Norfolk home game."
Interesting that he also used the word 'possible'; Caps announcement sounded more definitive, although obviously, nothing can be official as of right now.

"Yingst said a Hershey-Norfolk Verizon Center game would still have to be approved through AHL scheduling procedure."
Admirals Season ticket holder here again... we just got our renewal letter down here in Norfolk and they have confirmed that there will be an Admirals HOME game vs the Hershey bears in DC... date pending though. Admirals Season ticket holders will be able to purchase them before released to public.... I am guessing it will be Ads STH (dont worry there are only 1200 of us), then Bears STH ( at most I think there are 7500), then Caps STH, then Public... not sure of the order they will go in after the Admirals STHs...
I am a Capitals and Admirals fans... Admirals have a long long long rival with Hershey, stemming back to before Caps era... We were just posting on our board about a game 03 game when the Ads and Bears combined for 9 goals in the first period!
Here in South Carolina about to watch the Stingrays play...Gonna keep my eye on the Caps prospects. Actually just met Dustin Stevenson's dad at the hotel before the game. Nice guy, said the Caps are happy with his development so far.
Cody Eakin has been very good and very noticeable lately on the ice for the Bears and has been getting a lot of ice time. Even had a nice little shootout move the other night against the WBS Penguins its around the 1:50 mark in the video below
Also Braden Holtby has been on fire lately in his last few starts.
Would imagine in some way that he's related to long time NHL referee Dan Marouelli, perhaps his son. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Marouelli
Either way he seems to be a student of Stephane Auger.

The article says the ref's name is Curtis Marouelli...

Your right, I don't know where I got Paul from, however you know he has to be related to long time NHL referee Dan Marouelli. It's not like Marouelli is a common surname and for them to pick the same profession at that.
Thought so, found the following from a few years ago:
Curtis Marouelli – The 24-year-old native of Edmonton, Alberta has also earned the opportunity to work his first Clark Cup Finals. Earlier this season, he was named to the officiating crew at the 2009 UHSL All-Star Game and was recently selected to officiate the SPHL championship series. Curtis' uncle, Dan Marouelli, is a referee in the NHL
I didn't go through all the stories but it seems Curtis Marouelli who may be 26 now has had his issues as a referee.
What is it with the NHL ref's flunky family members getting jobs? That call is just so insanely stupid and at the very least he should be suspended if not fired.
*Edit* OMG! I just watched the rest of the video and it was allowed because Grub could have pulled the net back on and didn't?!?! That is why I could never be a coach. Police would have to take me off the bench if something like that happened.
What I meant was the moron ref. but I guess if I knew as much as I think I did, I'd be "in the game"!
Sk8 thanks for link.
Heh, I needed to type something to lead into the link; there was an article int he SC paper, too, by the same author, don't think it said much different than what he put in the blog. Link to the article
13F: Aucoin*, Bourque, Carman, Carroll, Eakin, Greentree, Hanson (inj), Kane, Micflikier (inj), Mink, Mitchell, Potulny, 1 of King or Pope (my assumption is Pope)
‘in residence’: 3 of: Pope, King, Lacroix (on recall from SC), Rechlicz
*Aucoin and Orlov (HBH can play others in their place while players are on recall)
Hanson and Micflikier (injured, so can replace with ‘in residence’ player or UFA ATO players (NCAA/juniors/ECHL players) until healthy)
In SC, some recall options include Flemming, Grubauer, and Oreskovic. De Kastrozza injured his knee and is out for the season.
Not many juniors and NCAA players this year in the system to join from the looks of things. Galiev is under contract with the Caps but his Saint John (juniors/Q) team expects to be playing for awhile. Carrier is out with a leg/ankle injury but could return for the Q playoffs.
UFA NCAA and junior players is an unknown at this time, but a possibility, as always this time in the season as their junior/NCAA seasons end.
"@timleone: No moves for Hershey at AHL trade deadline. Already had acquired Carman, Marshall. Orlov CDR eligible."
We will know the specifics tomorrow, but I'm guessing what I posted above is close given the players on the roster.
Micflikier and Hanson injured. Aucoin and Orlov on recall to Washington. Lacroix on recall to Hershey; so assume will be put on 'in residence' list; although maybe technically doesn't have to be since on recall.
I was close on Hershey's CDR with Mitchell on residence list, Rechlicz on main roster being the one difference; not that there were many options this season.
As has been noted, Aucoin and Orlov on recall and Hanson injured offers a lot of flexibility for now. When roster is intact: 5 vets: Aucoin, Bourque, Kane, Mink, Potulny and 2 tweeners: King and Greentree, so makes sense for multiple reasons for King to be on 'in residence' list.
ECHL - SC won tonight. Grubauer started the game, but sat out the third period; reports from Andrew Miller are that he has a minor wrist injury; hopefully it us minor.

I was going to reply with something on saw on Twitter, but you were the one to retweet it!
Suggest reading Leone's write-ups if you are looking for info. like that; he's pretty good with the updates. He reported that King and Bourque had a collision of some sort during practice earlier this week. link
Here's today's practice update with some additional injury info. link and another article from Leone today about the upcoming weekend games.
Also, TJ Syner, UMass, signs with Washington/Hershey; he attended development camp last summer
