I completely forgot Sami was on that team, which annoys me because he was one of my all-time favorite Flyers.

All these videos make me happy and then so sad because every year we try so hard just to be denied. What I would do for Claude Giroux and Kimmo to raise that cup nobody wants to know.

I love playoff Giroux too, I think he doesn't get enough attention with playoff Briere! That beard is ****ing epic! Can not wait to see it again!

Yup, and if we had a goalie in 2010. It just ****ing kills me. So close, but never enough. Philly sports in a nutshell. That 2004 team still probably remains my favorite Philadelphia pro sports team ever. I mean, the ride with the Phillies in 2008 was unbelievable, but that team never lost more than one game in a playoff series. With that 2004 Flyers team... between Markov's goal to finish off the Devils (after they'd broken our hearts in the playoffs each time before), the iconic Roenick goal to sink the Leafs after Tucker annihilated Sami Kapanen, or Primeau's tying-goal and Gagne's winning goal to send it to Game 7 against Tampa Bay in a series in which Kapanen was forced to play defense (and he played it damn well). I don't know what it was exactly, but that team just engendered a special feeling in me.

Here's the Markov goal that started the journey. Steve Levy's call ("... to Malakhov, for Zhamnov, and Markov...."), the kind of shot routine shot it was that beat Brodeur, and, of course, Markov's trademark crazy celebration always make me smile.

One of my favorite recent playoff memories. Cannot stand Montreal.

Watching game 7 of the Boston series in 2010 at the Wachovia Center with a full house of Flyer crazy fans still gives me the chills. Packed building even though the game was over 500 miles away, pure insanity when Gagne scored and even crazier when Giroux had that monster shift at the end to seal the victory.

I remember watching that and thinking "They are ****ing winning this game." That was it for me.

I know it all ended with the ultimate fail of Michael Leighton, but that 2010 run will never get old.

No way Giroux gets the Hart, Malkin's got that wrapped up.

I once had an HD version of this, not sure where it went. Gagne putting in the OT winner

Edit: Leino's "Statue of Liberty" pose from the same angle is another epic picture from that series

I love all of these goals but that LeClair one was a ****ing rocket!

It doesn't let my videos show up show as more than links but here are some of my other favorites:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3UfgCreBSo
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqOBE...feature=fvwrel
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LohGxFUCWsY
Mike Richards' penalty shot goal which for some reason I can only find fan videos from the seats on youtube.

Just so many good moments hopefully they make a lot more this postseason.

To post a video, take the last part of the link after v= and wrap it in YT tags.

That might not be an entirely clear explanation since I'm a bit busy today. I'll post your links as videos, and if you quote me you can see how I did it:

Game 7 when they lost will forever be etched in my mind. I was about 14 years old and I cried like a little baby because I knew it was the best chance the Flyers had to win a cup in my lifetime. A girl I had a crush on actually came up to me (was watching the game with about 15 friends) and tried to comfort me (sad, I know). Anyway, I ended up hooking up with her; was the first girl I ever made out with!

That series was the biggest wave of emotions ever. From absolutely disgusted to optimistic to absolutely amazed. It was an honor to have lived through it.
