I was at the game, sat just in front of where Ölvestad took that unbelievably stupid checking from behind penalty. A veteran player, with 3 + minutes left to go, one goal deficit, and it wasn't like Djurgården wasn't creating chances. And he does that. I hope he apologized to his team afterwards because he certainly owed them an apology.

Djurgården is in Kvalserien and are going have to compete for two places in SEL next season with Timrå, Örebro, Bofors, Leksand and one of Malmö/Rögle/Oskarshamn/Västerås. It's going to be a very unpredictable playoffs. I would say every team have a small chance of winning this year, all quarterfinals have the posibilty of upsets. It has been a very even serie this year, no clear favorite.

As a Skellefteå fan, I'm hoping that Tellqvist won't have a good series. Modo's offense is good enough to win playoff games but on paper I think they have the weakest goalie of the eight starters. However, the games aren't played on paper...
Good question about playoff experience and a relevant one considering that the kids were largely responsible for Brynäs finishing fourth in the regular season. It looks like it can be a really even series.
I honestly don't understand why Frölunda fans are so confident. Brynäs have one of the most lethal offenses in the SEL. But then again, Frölunda fans have always been huge homers.
One can only hope that Frölundas players understimate Brynäs as much as its fans.

Don't blaim the reffs for the loss. Luleå was the better team and hopefully they win again tomorrow.
