"...it’s probably the best time to bring (Tokarski) him up. This was something that was a possibility at some point this year and I think the circumstances are giving him an opportunity at the best part of the year for him, where it matters in the NHL and at the same time the best moment in regards to his confidence."
DWAYNE ROLOSON:
Quote:
"I feel good. There are just some things you can’t control and other things you can. I just focus on the things that I can control and go from there. I just have to focus on doing whatever I can to help my team win and can’t worry about anything else.''
BRENDAN MIKKELSON:
Quote:
"We’ve been playing good hockey lately, so we’re going to head into Washington with [Tuesday’s] game behind us and try to pick ourselves back up. We know where we’re at and we know what our situation is, but we’re not looking at the standings. We’re going to go to Washington worrying about Washington."
LET'S GO BOLTS!

Hope Stammer gets is 50th tonight in front of Ovie and all the Cap fans think Ovie is the best player in the world still.
Maybe he can go behind the net and put his stick on the ice and pretend it is on fire or something. I don't think anyone has done a celebration like that before.
If Roli starts tonight, we need him to play well in order to win and we really need this one. If he does though that probably means he starts again Saturday.

There are very few Caps fans left that think Ovi is still the best player in the world. If he had a 50 goal 100pt+ season this year, everyone could say last year's season was just a fluke, and he is still the best WINGER in the world, top 5 player, but since this year he is playing worse than last year with no signs of returning to his old form, he is still a GOOD player but no longer considered a great player, let alone best player in the world.
If you read some of the posts from a few years ago, no one would ever have considered trading Ovi, now, if the price is right, most Caps fans would say pull the trigger on the trade.
Anyways...I am just hoping for a good game tonight. Good luck to you Lightning Fans.
WoW! I didn't know Cap fans knew how to compose a complete sentence let alone read and write. You learn something new every day!
Just kidding Joe! I hear ya on Ovie. Great player but doesn't seem to be what he was. I think trading him at this point would be good for both him and the Caps. He can get a fresh start in a new place and the Caps can get some major assets and a new tone for their club.
Looking forward to the game tonight and seeing our new boy in net at some point soon. GO BOLTS!!
It's quite a difference in feeling coming into the last two games. Despite coming off a win, Ottawa still appeared daunting, and everything just seems to go the wrong way when the Lightning face them.
On the other hand, even though they're coming off a loss, Tampa always seems to match up well against the Caps. Considering the state of the roster, it's hard to get your hopes up too high, but I'll still be disappointed in a loss.
Amazing to think that Stamkos is coming into this with 48 goals, while Ovechkin has all of 49... points.
I don't know how you DON'T start Tic. Roloson has never inspired any confidence in this team. Don't put him in simply for his sake and some kind of non-existent chance that he'll get his game back. That move hurts the WHOLE team as they play like garbage in front of him.

Roloson hasn't inspired confidence in this team, for nearly the entirety of the season.
Yep, this kinda reminds me of when Boucher didn't want to say who's in net - Ellis or Desjardins - and then boom it was CD.
Clearly it's Tokarski. He doesn't want to announce it because this way it keeps the media off of him asking him questions about his feelings about getting his first NHL start.
