That's not saying a whole lot IMO.

In the immortal words of Cory Schneider: A little bit of Jannik Hansen?

Skating: Excellent
Hockey sense: Very good
Passing: Good
Puck control: Decent
Deking: Mediocre
Wrist shot: Mediocre
Slap shot: Decent
Defense: Good
Strength: Decent
Hitting: Good
Forechecking: Very good
Compete level: Very good
Yeah, I didn't put much thought into the 4th liner ones at all. But I agree.

I'd note that Hansen's absolute worst trait is not knowing what to do on breakaways despite being a shifty guy with a decent shot and decent puck skills (and no, this isn't a cue for everyone to youtube that Boston goal as evidence against this).

Getting killed by the flu, but the girlfriend is bringing me soup tomorrow! Oh yes, I have a girlfriend again! Finally my goalie will no longer need to be pu...I mean, how about those players and their skills.. love skilled players. No seriously, things are looking on the up and up. Just getting my head around paying NHL season ticket prices this year. Was fun going to the games, but now it's time to pay up... Gazooks! To those who don't have season tickets for an NHL team, be happy! You have money! I am close to moving in a cardboard box with squeegie in hand.

In all seriousness, I agree. He could use a lot of work on his shot and his deking ability. When he has time it seems he can snap it up over the goalie but adding more power to it in general would help even more.

I seem to recall that you said you were graduating last year or something? Hopefully you can make ends meet and keep cheering 'em on from the MTS Centre. I'm envious of the fact that you have season tickets in the first year that Winnipeg is back in the league, so cherish it!

Also, you used to watch Hansen back in the day during his time with the Moose right? What do you think of his smarts? I've always thought he's had good hockey sense, but I remember some posters were disputing that when I suggested it earlier in the season.

Manitoba Moose season ticket holders got first stab at season tickets with the Jets.. we had like a 72 hour window over the rest of the public, so it made things easy. Just had to commit. Now it's like, wow... these games add up. I used to sit behind the goalie with the Moose. I now sit in the upper bowl. Only way I can almost afford season tickets.

I actually expected Hansen to be ahead of the curve a lot sooner. He's been very slow in his development but he's more of smarts player vs. pure skill. Although he is a great skater. I still think he could turn into a good two-way 50 point guy.

He can't even score on spinoramas, either. Just ship him to the KHL or something

I see, thanks. That's what I always thought, hopefully others recognize it too. Btw can you use your season tickets for the playoffs? From the sounds of it you seem to be paying for each one individually as the season goes along.

AARON ROME

Passing: Bad. Breakout pass consists of flipping the puck the air and hoping for a lucky bounce but usually results in giving the puck back to the opposition or getting an icing call.
Wrist Shot: inaccurate and super slow. usually at the logo if on net.
Slap Shot: very inaccurate but surprises goalies at times. speed can be decent to slow.
Skating: slow like molasses
Relationship with the coach: intimate
