Astros - Coltless Colts

So the Astros are going to wear the old Colts uniforms in celebration of their history. Guns aren't cool though so what they are left with is a jersey that makes no sense.

Dumb. People are way too ****in sensitive this days. I was born in 1991 and that last sentence makes me sound like an old timer. But its true. Everything is about sensitivity and political correctness today.

Its a picture of a gun. A ****in picture! It's not like they're actually going have guns in holsters on them that they can pull out and shoot a base runner.

I'm just glad the Indians haven't become the Cleveland Native Americans yet. Yes I know Indians is factually and historically incorrect but still.The big smiling red Indian head is probably more "offensive" then a gun too and that's allowed.

If the Astros dont have real guns to shoot the other team how in the hell are they going to avoid losing 100 games?

We're lucky hockey is an afterthought in America or a group of mom's probably woulda petitioned Anisimov be kicked out the league.

I mean cmon Bud, its a throwback just jersey of a team from the 40s-60s, no one is promoting the use of guns here. No need to disallow it because of what might happen.

Seriously though. This is like a recent thing like the last 5 years or so this oversensitive/politically correct/"THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!111" BS. Because from what I remember the late 90s and early-mid 00's were nothing like this.

I was 5 and 6 years old watching shows like South Park, obviously I didn't get all the jokes but I still watched it. If a parent let their 5 year old kid watch South Park today they'd probably get child services called on them.

Actually its the MLB that told the Astros to remove the gun from that logo. Nice that its at least being used somewhere. The C looking like smoke off the barrel is going to look pretty odd without the barrel.

This also brings up an interesting question of how did a northern california team end up using the logo formerly used by a mlb team that changed its name.

Personally, I don't think MLB is going far enough. What about St. Louis? Sure that yellow bat on their jerseys might look cute with a couple of cardinals perched on it, but that's a deadly weapon in the wrong hands. Don't want anyone exposed to that kind of potentially violent imagery.
