Just saw that Pierre Dagenais had another 14 point game, 10 goals, 4 assists against 1000 Islands - the same team against which he got the first one. Final score was 22-8. That brings Gretzky of the FHL to 81 goals and 143 points in 45 games. I wonder if he'll try to move up to a better league next year or if he really enjoys putting up these insane stats.
Actually this is not as bad of a league as i thought, here in Elmira we have called up several players this season, and they are very high quality players

Actually he is moving to a lower league. We extended an offer to him to play in our Sunday night pick-up hockey league. He doesn't have to pay the $10 a game, and gets the first two beers for free. We will also let him wear #99. He will also be captain of the white team.
strange playoff structure, seems like theyre using the old SPHL model, 1v6 is a 5 game series and the winner gets a bye into the final, then 2v5 and 3v4 are 3 game series and the winners play each other for the other spot in the final.
Personally, I like it. Much more interesting than the standard playoff bracket. Also, it would awesome to see the 6th seed win that first round match-up.
If the six seed makes it, it rewards them for having a crap season. I dislike this and have since the SPHL first adopted it. If you're going to have a 6 team playoff, I'd much rather see the 1 and 2 seeds get first round byes
In typical Akwesasne fashion, there was a brawl for their elimination game, maybe next year they'll want to trade in some goons and give Dagenais a couple guys with some skill

haha good point, hopefully they'll move to Cornwall as a re-branded franchise. I'd hate to see them leave the area, they are good natural rivals to 1000 Islands, but if they keep this up and the FHL can get a bit more stability, they probably won't be welcome in the league anymore

1,000 Islands...I bet that chick doesn't even have the cash, being somebodies daughter probably helps that team still exist.

Also, just read that entire post.... the author really has something going there it seems. The Privateers owner being the daughter of the commish is a huge conflict of interest...

Pretty disgusting that a commissioner would use his position to have an employee video tape the opposing team's fans at a game his daughter's team was playing in.
This league is a joke in its current state, sincerely hope that things will change.

Knew they visited but never knew why. Wonder who they bidded to and who turned it down cause our GM was fired shortly after.
