We will be doing an open bidding system. So basically like in NHL 12 there will be a time limit. Last and highest bid gets the player. Bids are posted in this thread. You can bid how every many times you want just not back to back. And please do not go crazy. I'm updating everyone's cap situation and you need to be smart instead of handing out 9M contracts to players like Grabovski.. Max contract you can offer is 5 years, 12M per. I'm expecting we won't see that though.
As for RFA's, it will be the same as every year. You PM me an offer and I'll just accept it or reject it, no bidding. There's a compensation for RFA's and it's in the OP.
First of all, look up. Second, you have a jam of forwards already, what's the point in signing 2 more?
Yup started at midnight, Post was at 12:03. Also I have all summer to make trades, theres good FA's out there that I would prefer rather then some I have on my roster.

I will offer Pekka Rine a 7,250,000 for 1 year. This deal gives Washington the help needed to win the Cup. So that must be a very good point for a starter.
Teemu Selanne - 3.8 Million a year for 2 years 1 way NTC
Ales Hemsky - 6.9 Million a year for 5 years 1 way
Mikhail Grabovski - 6.8 Million a year for 5 years 1 way NTC
Pekka Rinne - 8.7 Million a year for 7 years 1 way Full NTC+Full Bonuses
Does this kid no that there's a cap hit and that having cap space is needed to win a cup. How will do that if he Spend all in money and still have a mediocre team. So hopefully it's not best offer win cause you really need to take everything into account. Like if the team only need something to be the front runner then a player might sign a 1 year contract to be involve then take a huge contract. Think of Hossa what he did, he sign 1 year deal with Detroit and 1 year deal with Pitts and finally won a cup.
