Kings couldn't afford to loose this game and they lost.
I don't give a **** if Columbus is playing well, the Kings should have won, period.
There's something wrong with this team, it's just killing us all.
Judging from tonight's performance, you'd think that the Jackets were the ones fighting to gain a playoff spot while the Kings were sitting comfortably in last place. Not much fight for a team that has to scratch and claw to get into the playoffs.
It doesn't get any easier tomorrow against the Wings. Even without Lidstrom or Datsyuk, the Kings never take advantage of team's when they are missing a few guns from their arsenal.
The Kings were definitely looking past this game and looking towards the Wings game. Now, if they lose that one, they should be kicking each other in the junk.
Richards needs to snap out of his funk, he hasn't done **** tonight. He was hot against the Ducks and the early parts of the season but he needs to wake the **** up.
He scored the 2nd goal, to take the lead. That is called a game-winning goal.
Huh? Isn't that what I exactly said? JJ does get credited for the game-winning goal.
EDIT: Yeah, I get it now. Regardless of how many more goals were scored by the Jackets after the JJ goal as long as the Kings were held to 1 goal, JJ still would've had the GWG.

I thought Richards was suppose to be a clutch player, scoring in the most "important" times. I haven't seen any of that this season.
Aren't these times important? Isn't this time we're our leader(s) (exception to Brown) and special players are suppose to shine the most? Where the **** are they?

Just like pretty much every other team. EVERY game is a must win game but sometimes it just doesn't happen. Relax. We will see after 82 games which teams suck.

Exactly, just like Dan Cloutier. That guy was doing tons of little things but he was completely misunderstood.

No, it isn't. His goal wouldn't have changed anything.
Better to play playoff teams down the stretch. Columbus can play loose and have a four game win streak. Beat Phoenix twice in a week. You don't think they should have won their games?
I can't wait until the kings stop playing down to their opponents.

Well okay, let me see if I can get this right.
Schenn and Simmonds are in Philadelphia.
Handzus is playing in San Jose.
I think Frolov is in the KHL or something.
Moulson, Boyle, and Purcell are scattered throughout the east.
