Can we give Hall a letter please? Even a 'A' for now would suffice. It would signify we are ready to hand the reigns over to the youth.

Does Hemsky REALLY need one? Fer Cereal?

Can anybody explain the immobile Potter/Whitney pairing? Anybody? Bueller?
Renney has decided to use Schultz as a 3rd pairing defenseman, so Whitney gets Potter.

Man I hate it when I can't wait for the season to be over. Such a bunk feeling. Three straight of them too, oh well, just another five more years of last place hockey and we will be rolling.

Man, i'm starting to regret any argument i made for team progress.
This performance was straight up garbage by pretty much the whole team outside of perhaps Hall, Schultz and Petry and even they had their struggles at times. Ugh!!!
The "vet line" in particular was just straight up garbage. Weirdly enough, i thought that Jones and Smyth brought down Horcoff because it looked like Horcoff was really trying to push some offense for that line but those two slugs are anchors right now, so tough to watch.

I predict that Hall wants out by the end of next season if this garbage continues through next season, his on ice frustration is becoming more and more evident every game and he doesn't even seem to be having fun anymore and is generally emotionless when he scores goals now.

Also, and i know that i will take a lot of crap from the Gagner supporters and frankly i don't care, he has completely disappeared offensively since that hot stretch. I don't understand how a guy with his ability can disappear like this for long stretches.
I'm getting closer and closer to jumping on the Grigorenko/Galchenyuk with every game that passes.

Tambo can't possible watch this team and not want to make major changes.

Serious question. How much are Oil Kings tickets? I'd like to watch a team that gives a **** and wins more than once in a while.

Losses have stung over the past month but generally, I've been able to shrug off most of them pretty quick. This one is going to linger all night. Just an absolute embarrassing display.

What's their record over their last ten home games? I'll bet that they don't even have 2 wins. What a lousy way to thank your fans for subjecting them to another season of anti-hockey.

Schultz with the second lowest amount of icetime in the game among Oilers defensemen, ahead of only Peckham, who was in the box half the game and I believe was benched after his third penalty.

On a related note, Potter (that guy who was recommended to the Oilers by Renney) and Whitney had the most.

Potter continues to make the powerplay go. The chemistry he's got with RNH is almost uncanny. Our PP is as good as I can ever remember it being (post 90's) and so much of that success runs through the work going on between 93 & 44.

As for the rest of the sad sack...

Peckham is a denver boot. Has been all season & I can't even fault the GM for that one because Pecks' convinced me he was passable last year.

Thing is...he's been atrocious almost every single game this year. I felt bad for him after his 3rd PIMS of the night. He looked ECHL-ish. It can't be over soon enough for him.

Didn't one of our posters have an avatar bet that we would rack up a ton of points in the second half of the season? Where'd that guy go?

Didn't watch the game, but Omark scored?

I think MPS should've been the one sent down early in the season and Linus should've stayed up here.

Given the same minutes IMO he would've produced the same offence Hemsky has for 1/5th cost.
