yet at the deadline many of your ilk didn't accept our very generous offer of Weber and a 3rd

im surprised to see a lack of sincere displeasure over the failed tank job.

over the past two years i actually wanted the oilers to lose and finish last.

this year...its more like a consolation prize because we need to start improving.

but in year 1, its important to go HARD. maybe you guys can win the lottery to make up for the lack of focus on the task at hand.

happy tanking!

Trade him.

It's not just that. It's the people's lack of proper evaluation. They pay attention to points, and mistakes.
Even during PK's toughest ''struggles'' this year, he was never as bad as most made him out to be. He was always great at protecting the pucks, winning board battles, and moving the puck up. I also can't remember him ever losing a one on one match up, and he often breaks up plays. He's never been bad.

The guy is a stud Dman. The possibility of having him and Markov on two different pairing is just amazing. I really hope it happens.

Our schedule is so brutally tough, this team will still struggle big time down the stretch considering how depleted by injuries they are. I am still very confident we'll enter the lottery in the 3rd slot. No need to be in panic mode, tank nation. This team can still get this mission accomplished.

@ VAN - Our defence against their deep attack? Yikes. Loss.
@ BUF - Quick turnaround coming off West coast, BUF will need the game. Loss.
vs OTT - A possible win I guess. Still, IF OTT shows up, it's a likely L.
@ OTT - Loss, especially if we beat them the previous game.
vs NYI - Should be a Budaj start as it's a b-2-b. Could be a win, possible L. Huge tank battle.
@ BUF - Loss if BUF is still in the race. Possible win if they aren't.
vs OTT - Could be another Budaj start, if so, L.
@ PHI - 2nd of a b-2-b. Our defence against their deep attack? Loss.
vs FLA - They have owned us this year, they will likely need this game. Loss.
@ NYR - We usually play well against them. Could be Budaj vs Biron. Loss still very possible.
@ WSH - 2nd of a b-2-b. They own us. Loss.
vs TB - Could be for TB's season, but they suck on the road. Possible win.
@ CAR - 2nd of a b-2-b. Long flight to Raleigh. Budaj start you would think. Loss.
vs TOR - Who knows, TOR plays well in our building usually. Toss up.

Before Markov got hurt he was really struggling defensively. I love him but I really wonder how good he will be when he comes back. Not too worried about the offense, moreso the defense. This is why I want him to go to the WC. To me, if he is going to get hurt, he is going to get hurt. I rather it be sooner than later as weird as that sounds.

This is true. But a big reason myths like that perpetuate is people being informed by bad numbers. +/- is a particularly bad one for that even though in theory it should represent the heart of what makes a player good, whether he creates more than he gives up.

Patches' 26 ES goals are the most by a Hab since Damphousse in 93-94.

Wow that is a brutal line up, most of those teams are very hot right now, we are going to get smacked down. There are zero easy games there. Ottawa, Buffalo and even the Islanders/Hurricanes are playing much better.

This will be an ugly end to the year but it will all pay off.

So...PK Subban.

First pairing minutes playing against other team's best lines night in night out. On the worst team in the East. "Sophomore slump".

Even +/-, and 30 pts too?

Hopefully PK picks up a couple of multi-point games (losses, of course ) and breaks his 38pt record.

Our tank was making big advance until we get to Edmonton. Man, that Peckham is such a massive anti-tank missile. Time to patch up the tank and rolling to Vancouver where the the defenders only have hand gun and a couple of sub-machine guns. We should steamroll Vancouver without any problem.

Compare it to the islanders schedule,, quoted below, and ours is a breeze.

Even without comparing, Habs schedule isn't that hard.

TO, TB, CAR, NYI and we traditionally compete well vs OTT.

Hope you don't mind my photoshop here; but we have a lot of experience tanking. I really hope you get Grigorenko so the Oil can draft Murray (dunno if you noticed or not but we are lacking on the blueline.)

Anyways best wishes to your team and fans.
