I also can't remember him ever losing a one on one match up, and he often breaks up plays. He's never been bad.

Before Markov got hurt he was really struggling defensively. I love him but I really wonder how good he will be when he comes back. Not too worried about the offense, moreso the defense. This is why I want him to go to the WC. To me, if he is going to get hurt, he is going to get hurt. I rather it be sooner than later as weird as that sounds.

This is true. But a big reason myths like that perpetuate is people being informed by bad numbers. +/- is a particularly bad one for that even though in theory it should represent the heart of what makes a player good, whether he creates more than he gives up.

Wow that is a brutal line up, most of those teams are very hot right now, we are going to get smacked down. There are zero easy games there. Ottawa, Buffalo and even the Islanders/Hurricanes are playing much better.
This will be an ugly end to the year but it will all pay off.
Our tank was making big advance until we get to Edmonton. Man, that Peckham is such a massive anti-tank missile. Time to patch up the tank and rolling to Vancouver where the the defenders only have hand gun and a couple of sub-machine guns. We should steamroll Vancouver without any problem.
