Thought you guys might be interested in this, so I'm gonna try to translate the important pieces of it.
Leino obviously knows & acknowledges that the season has been a disappointment for him. He says that some reasons for it are the varying levels of responsibility (I'd assume he means playing time) he has gotten, playing on different system (than in Philadelphia, I once again assume), and the fact that he has been shuffled around the lines a lot.
Direct quote:
"The hard(est) part in all of this has been the fact that I haven't been allowed to play my own game, and there hasn't even really been any possibility for that. I have had to make compromises, and for me making those compromises has been hard. However, I must keep my eye on the bigger picture.
It's only my first season in here, and I try to develop in this environment every day. Adversities can only make you stronger. Going through hardships makes you learn a lot more. I am confident that this will eventually become a good place for me"
So, I guess that in Philly he was given pretty free reign then, if he has to make compromises in Buffalo.
