I still get chills watching either one of these. What an amazing player and a great Boston Bruin. I'm so sad we can't see any more of these goals from him... maybe one day.
This was the one i posted about above. I was sitting probably 10 ft from where Savard shot that. I went absolutely nuts.

I remember watching that game up at school (graduated last year). I was watching and having a few beers with the guys. I must have jumped about 5 feet off the couch when that went in.

One of the greatest Bruins game I ever been to, my number one is game 6 of that series but Savard's OT winner in game 3 is a very very close second.
I know this is going to sound really cheesy, and cliche. But my god did anyone have more fun playing the game than Marc Savard? That picture sums him up so perfectly. He LOVED playing, and I really believe he LOVED playing in Boston.
**** I miss him.
Me too
Savvy was so much fun to watch. He has such a passion for the game.
Its a damned shame what happened with Savard. You really get the impression that he took soo much pride in being a Bruin. I hope they have something lined up for him when he officially retires. He may not have been here all that long, but he is a big part of the Bruins' recent history.
I just hope that someday soon the clouds clear for him and he can enjoy his kids and his life without the concussion problems
I want to finally purchase this photo. It means so much to me, as Savard was, and still is, my favorite Bruin. Does anyone know where I can buy a print of this?
Thanks!
Betcha Savvy has one, Tweet him, let him know what he means to ya, worth the shot
I'm not 100% positive but I believe as long as you're not selling it and doing it for your own use, tou can copy it. I'd check with the people doing the work for you to be sure. It' been a while since I was a writer.
Savvy was great for hugs and jumping into players arms that had passed him the puck (It was Wides a couple of times). I know B's got kisses from him too.

I really miss Marc.
I love players that love the game like that. I always wondered, if he had been the one to score the game 7 OT goal against Montreal last year, what his reaction would have been. Horton was pretty calm and collected, i have to imagine Savvy would have done nothing short of jumping into the crowd some how haha
I am only a newly die hard Bruin fan(on & off since 2008) & I know my sister was at that game........didn't get too see much of Savard but watching that video of him........just his passion & joy of being on the ice makes me sad
Eh, I looked and couldn't find anyplace that sold that specific savvy pic. Like someone else said I think maybe contacting the copyright holder is your best bet if you want to do it legit.

You and me both brother. There are no words to describe the straight up anger I feel when I read posts trumpeting how Matt Cooke is changed. Punk should be out of hockey.
