Up and down. Will win the division to will they ever win another game. I love this team and I hate this team. Terribly, terribly frustrating. The only thing keeping me sane is the realization that this is, in fact, a transition season. The team is not supposed to be in this position. It would still be a terrible fate to miss after leading the division most of the year. Which team is going to Pittsburgh tomorrow? This one or the one that beat Ottawa? Could drive a guy crazy.....
Still don't understand how a team that supposedly realizes how important the rest of the games are in clinching a playoff birth can lose 7-0 and 5-0 in a span of about a week. Just doesn't make sense.

This. Unbelieveable....
No desperation at all, just a random bunch of players playing for their own.
Not expecting playoffs, to be honest. Peg, Buffalo, etc keep winning important games. It's a matter of days before we're off the playoff table.
That's the thing with this team. Games you never expect them to win, they end up looking like they're going to win the Stanley Cup. I just don't understand it.
This team never plays like their good enough to win a cup. I think you mean Theodore and our defense (sometimes) looks good enough to win a cup. Our offense is worse than most AHL teams.
If we make the playoffs, it will be a early exit the way we are playing.
Was anybody expecting a late exit?
The team's psyche is just as bad as it was a few seasons ago. First 5 minutes I saw some great hockey. Great forecheck, winning battles to pucks, good chances. Everything we like to see out of these guys. The moment Philly scored on the PP a COMPLETELY different team came out. Nothing like the one just seconds before Philly scored. That's not good. Mental toughness still seems to be an issue no matter who wears our jersey.

Meant 1-4 or swept in the first round the way we are playing.
Great team! Great offense. Two great shutouts within a week...
Wait..I guess we are on the wrong side of all these facts
How can you play like that??? Seriously! Dineen is doing something wrong to start the game..You outplay them in the first minutes, get no goals but the other gets two goals! Ridiculous.
They are so freaking bad and they wont make the playoffs ONCE again if they continue and everyone will laugh...
Have to win against Pittsburgh..It cant be any worser than against Philly or can it..? Malkin + Neal
I'm expecting the Red Sox Collapse of 2011. I can't help it or deny it. I've been a suffering fan for too long. Why oh why can't they just go out and win five in a row?

Well besides the offense (mostly top line) playing outstanding from October to December, it's been atrocious. Since then, when the injuries started, that's when everything started going bipolar. The graph on sportsclubstats.com shows that. I'm just hoping when Versteeg and Kulikov come back that everyone for the most part is healthy. That would be very key if we're actually thinking postseason in a few weeks.
