I don't wish injury on any player under any circumstances, but I'm just saying, it would be really damn nice to play a Henson-less Carolina team tomorrow if we can somehow beat Virginia today.

True enough.
Kid's finally learning to actually play basketball. I thought if he went to the NBA at the end of last year that he'd have gotten eaten up, simply because all he had going for him was his length, which of course EVERYONE'S got a little more of in the NBA. Now, his post-game is much-improved, he's gaining some range on his jumper, and he's learning to play actual defense, raising his block totals.
If he continues to improve at this rate, no doubt he's an above-average NBA PF whenever he chooses to come out (probably at the end of the year).
Love that Marshall found his shooting touch, even if he has the world's ugliest shot. Decent win, but losing Henson sucks. He needs to be healthy for the real tournament.
Yeah, I also wouldn't want my favorite team to sign one of the best players of all-time at a position they've desperately needed for 13 years.
My dad feels the same way and I don't understand why.
I'm thinking long term. I'm wanting this team to seriously pursue a franchise quarterback. They gave up on Henne already. I guess if getting him guaranteed making it to the superbowl in 3 years then I'd go for it.
I just think Manning would be a great fit in Miami. They've got the defense, the RB, the left tackle, the wideouts, especially if Wayne comes with him, and presumably the coach to challenge for the division. Flynn is riding two good games, RG3 is going to cost an arm and a leg, Luck isn't happening, and I don't think Tannehill is anything special.
They were right to give up on Henne though. He sucked, and I still question why he was drafted as high as he was.
If they do sign Manning, they can still pick a QB in the next few years and have Manning teach him without starting right away. IMO, it's a win all the way around for Miami.
I was really hopeful that White could turn into something for you guys, never bought one ounce of the Henne hype. I've always thought Henne was rather terrible. Of course, White flat out regressed from where he was at WVU so that had no chance of working out.
State did their best to blow that one, but they're probably in now with all the bubble teams losing yesterday.
Henson's x-rays were negative, so he's day to day. With Roy's feelings on the ACC tournament, I can't imagine he plays before the championship, if that.
Don't get to watch State all that often, but was very impressed with the game today. Well done by State to hold on to the lead against a higher-seeded opponent despite having a tough day from the line.
If Henson's out tomorrow, I'm pretty sure State's gonna upset UNC. Lorenzo Brown can almost run with Marshall, assist for assist, and without Henson as an extra weapon that's one less thing State's gotta deal with. Let's hope he's healthy!!!

Fixed.
Though that's in the sense that State could win, not necessarily hoping for somebody to be injured.
Man, Florida is so jekyll and hyde it's ridiculous. This might sound kind of obvious, but they are a team that could go on a Final Four run or get upset in the first round.
If they drain their 3's, they're a dangerous team. If not, they're very vulnerable. Boynton and Walker are far to inconsistent in that regard.
Yeah, I think the main reason Carolina has no trouble with us while all the other teams can't beat and/or struggle with us is because UNC has Henson who can effectively shut Leslie down. There really aren't more than 2 or 3 players in the ACC who can match his combination of height and athleticism, but Henson is one of them.
I don't think we'll win though, we're a seven man team playing our third game in three days.
that the PLUMLEES are the second "best" thing about the Duke Basketball team. I'd hate to see the "worst" things about the team if THOSE ogres are the second BEST things...
