They'll say that Coburn's hit was revenge for Bortuzzo or something, because that's even

Man Ben Bishop looks huge in net. His 6'7 frame has to be intimidating to shoot at.

The Dallas vs San Jose game is awesome.... sad it's being settled by a shootout though.

At least the shootout was entertaining. Went 5 rounds with two Finnish goalies dueling it out.

Dallas wins it.

NHL priorities: "As you can see, the clouds around the world have parted, and Jesus Christ is coming back to earth! Legions upon legions of angels are everywhere, singing in a heavenly chorus. The light is so brilliant, it's ... oh, I've just been told we're breaking away from this glorious revelation to show you footage of Crosby tying his skate laces."

I totally wasn't missing crosby the last season and a half. Now i guess it's back to What Would Crosby Do for every single play made in a game. The 2 intermissions with stories about crosby, how no star player in the league has had the misfortune of concussions (since they don't recall lindros or lafontane). Or my favorite are the pens fans who will say he's the best player ever, when he's probably the 3rd best penguin, and maybe the 2nd best player on his team when malkin wants to play.

I wish they would stop trying to sell hockey like basketball, you don't need a face to sell the game, like lebron or MJ. They are on the court for most of the game. A player is only going to be on the ice for 1/3rd of a game in 1 minute intervals. Which leads us to here's an iso of crosby on the bench, here's an iso of crosby drinking water better than anyone in the league. Meanwhile they totally missed a goal. Hockey is a team game like football and the game is what should be sold not crosby or ovy or whomever you want. The game will go on whether crosby is involved or not. It's one thing I like about baseball they respect the game.

Wow, Kings take the lead with less than 6 minutes to play then blow it by giving up 2 goals. Apparently Richards was responsible for Detroit's tying goal and also missed an open net with time winding down. LA fans are crucifying him right now. The dude's got like 1 goal in 32 or 33 games.

Yea, their fans are starting to loose it... understandably so. Their team just seems to find ways not to win.

I gotta take off my hat and give you guys in Philly a standing ovation. Your GM was brilliant for making that trade with the Kings. Richards is one of the most heartless, gutless, dickless, biggest chicken**** player I have seen as a Kings fan.

IMO It's still way to early. It's easy to say when Richards hasn't scored in 30+ games. Who knows though? Let's say The Kings win the Cup in the next 5 years with Richards being a big part, then how do you feel about this trade? Maybe this season is a bust for The Kings, but one season doesn't decide the winner of this trade.

I don't think there are too many here, though, who would be high-fiving any master deception. The day Richards and Carter were dealt, I was zombie-like for most of the day. Richards was a leader by example: he scored, he played solid D, he hit, he fought. Richards should have been -- should be -- a great fit for the Kings. Hopefull, Richards can pull it together like Bryzgalov has been doing of late, and start being the impact player he was in the orange and black.

I don't think it's a coincidence that Richards has been completely different since that concussion.

I get the feeling he's playing hurt again...he tends to do that. The question is whether or not the Kings management knows.

Rangers lose again in regulation. Pitt 4 back and Flyers are 8 with a game in hand.

I think Richards will be fine down the road for the Kings .....but as for us, the day when we made both those trades I honestly was very happy...

I thought we did well and I think we will end up winning both of them.....I can't wait to see what Schenn and Couterior do next year....though I am happy so far of what I have seen this year, the future is going to be great for those two....and not to mention Vorocek and Simmonds and our possibly our prospect Cousins!! Yow!!!

I'm not afraid of the Pens. They savor shootout victories like they discoverd the cure for cancer. Without the shootout that team is in 7th place at best.

Blues' David Perron on St. Louis taking the overall NHL points lead:
"For us, there's much more work to go and our goal is more than just to finish first in the standings. It's to win the Cup."

WOW!! This dude needs to slow the **** down

To be quite honest your system sucks. You guys have one of the most talented offensive rosters in hockey on paper, put someone in charge that will let them be that, then come back.
