Hopefully he gets 2G in his next 15 or so games to finish at 29 goals. 9.5 cap hit for a 29 goal winger. Hope Staal doesn't take notice.

Backstrom and now Harding are hurt for the Wild.

Since Mike Milbury is trashed any time we get, I figured I should link this article from THW about their list of some of his worst trades.

Capitals are going to get the 8 seed just because nobody else seems to want it. They've sucked ass but have had a few late comebacks to get 2 points recently when it looked like they were about to get 0.

Buffalo lost tonight and can't keep pace. Jets are losing 3-2 late. Tampa just lost 2 in a row, one to the Caps. Leafs...forget about it...after that nobody has a shot.

Out west Phoenix loses 5 in a row, San Jose 4 in a row. A couple of other teams that look like they have no interest in being in the playoffs this year. but the Kings had a chance to get in the Top 8 and lost as well tonight.

The Pacific doesn't have any bottom dwellers, but they certainly are nowhere near the Central and Atlantic in terms of dangerous playoff teams.

Some teams just aren't good enough to lock down the spot. Like this game.. the Jets can't keep up with Vancouver. They're not nearly as good a team.

Damn. Forgot about that game. Center Ice is a gift and a curse. Too many to choose from.

If the Pens make the playoffs and SJ doesn't, they'll have the 2nd longest active streak of post season appearances behind Detroit.

Random fact:Jags can still play.He was really dangerous in the Fla-Phi game. I want him to stay away from the Penguins come playoff time.

He's still got it but he only seems to be deadly on PP's to me now. Not got the legs he once had but he still has the hands and mind.

Hopefully, Chicago beat Rangers tonight and we win to close the gap to 4 points.

Don't look now, but Giroux is only 2 points back on Malkin. Geno needs to pick it up quickly.

As much as I hate Philly, I actually prefer Giroux to Stamkos. There's something about his face that makes me want to punch him.

I don't really hate either player. I don't know why but I find it hard to hate Giroux. He doesn't play like the typical ****** bag Flyers player.

This.

My only gripe about Giroux is that he plays for Philthy. If he played anywhere else (except Washington, Tampa Bay, Detroit, or Montreal IMO), I'd love him to pieces. Hell 99% of us would I bet.

Stamkos on the other hand, you're right. Everytime I see his face I wanna smack him. Although to be fair I doubt it'd do any damage as he already looks like he got hit square in the face with a shovel.

Plus as I've said a bazillion times, him sharing the 2010 Rocket Richard with Sid all because of a cheap empty net goal just makes me furious. I dunno if I'll ever be OK with that.
