This is what HCDB said today. He said Kris is having "symptoms in some areas" for what that's worth.
Quote:
"Kris Letang is feeling better, but still has some symptoms. He is feeling better though and had light exercises off the ice today. ... Going through the tests that you go through, he’s feeling better and doing well. He’s still having symptoms in some areas. But he is continuing to feel better. They progressed him to light activity. He did that today. I don’t quite know what that means for him in terms of timetable, short term or long term. (A concussion) hasn’t been diagnosed at this point in time. He’s still having symptoms.
No ones been called up. They can't play with 5D. Probably just a maintenance day. It's a busy schedule with games every other day.
I didn't think they gave maintenance days on game days. All of the other players that were absent yesterday for maintenance days are participating... We'll see I guess.
Someone commented on another site that Pierre McGuire was just on TSN990 saying Letang practiced with the team today and should be back before long.... The team didn't practice today, and there was no sign of him with Sid and tangradi and jeffrey.
Anyone know what he is talking about? Anyone hear the interview?

Yeah, I heard the interview, or a different interview where he said the same thing, on NHL live this afternoon. And I also wasn't quite sure what he was referring to. Perhaps he somehow misspoke, it is hard to figure that he would be just making **** up.

I heard that also - maybe Pierre heard Letang was supposed to skate today, but then the practice was cancelled. It's possible Letang did still skate on his own for a little bit, not at the same time as Sid was on the ice.
Who knows where Pierre gets some of his information, although he was here last night for the NBC Broadcast and had a sit-down with Sid.
Pierre doesn't know jack. He also said Sid would be back in January or something if i remember right. I think he bases everything off demeanors and half answers. "He looked great! Seemed in high spirits!"
Good to see that Tanger can put the gear on though. Waiting for reports about how hard he's going on tweeter.
They skated with the trainer yesturday also. I don't think either one will play tonight but maybe Sunday. If Strait has another good game tonight then I say give them a little more time. Let Strait play tonight and Sunday then send him down on Monday. At least one of Engelland or Letang should be ready to go on the road trip. Besides we get to see what Strait can do against a real good team like the Bruins. I think two games against mediocre competition is just too small of a sample size. We need to see what he can do and if we really want to keep him. Even if we don't want to keep him it should increase his trade value if he continues to play well. It's a win win situation.
I've said for a while a lot of winning is luck in terms of having the right players healthy. If we can get healthy in the last month of the season for the playoffs...
You look at a lot of the Cup winners & besides for some bumps & bruises they have been healthy squads.
Letang practicing with team today per Yohe! great news.
Pens Inside Scoop then confirms it's because the Pens have limited ice time. But still nice to know he's likely gearing back to return sooner rather than later.
Hmmm...what's up with Johnny? First it was an illness but now it's been quite a while. Will be interesting to see how this unfolds over the next month.
