Can't see why Boston would want Dowd?

Doubt Avs would want Barnaby, maybe Cullimore though

Simpson to the Leafs......no thank you!

I am sure the Flyers would take Simpson or Cullimore for a pick.

Can't see why Chicago would want Hinote or Nieminen, though the players listed are all certainly available.

I think you will see

Arnison go, Lapointe, Brown and BArnaby go

most of the above mentioned players(in the original post) are fringe players and enless you fallow the hawks--you might think they were out of the leage already

So you'd rather play the 4th or 5th dman on the Marlies depth chart then? Simpson for a late pick would be fine for depth purposes.

Barnaby played really well in his short stint with the Avs. I would like him for our third line. Imagine him and Lappy together!

Canucks (in my mind) would be the one team interested in a player such as Jim Dowd.

Any chance Mark Bell or Jim Vandermeer get moved?

Assuming there would be a reason to believe that Jan Bulis (impending UFA) would likely re-sign in Chicago, how does this sound?

Jan Bulis, Sheldon Souray, Mike Ribeiro, and a 2nd round pick

for

Mark Bell, Jim Vandermeer

Close? Far off? Opinions?

Richard Zednik is a piece that could be worked into the puzzle somehow as well if he would be preferred over, say, Bulis.

Which Sauer?

If it's Michael, than he's worth more than both of those players combined.

I will give you Dandenault, Souray, Zednik and a late pick for Vandermeer, Bell and Simpson

The Sabres, even though Brown was a fan favorite, do not need another center anyways. Why trade a fourth rd pick away when we don't have a 3rd? When Briere, Mair and Connolly come back, we will be have 7 centers on the NHL active roster. Do not need 8. I could see them shooting for Vandameer.

Bell is not being moved.

GET OVER IT.

players that are untouchable:
Ruutu, Seabrook, Barker, Bell.

Players that are likely to be moved:
Arnason, Brown, Barnaby, Cullimore, Dowd...

Possibly Calder if a GOOD deal comes around.... the others could be moved for picks and prospects.

and besides, those deals that were proposed were not anything close to what it would take for the Hawks to even consider dealing Bell.

this is a deal I'd do with the Habs which wouldn't happen:

Arnason, Calder, Cullimore for Koivu and a draft pick.

but as for realistic deals:

Arnason, Cullimore for Zednik, Komisarek

What's Aucoin's status? I'd love to see him on the Devils.
