TE Orson Charles was arrested on DUI this morning.
How hard is it to keep your nose clean for a few months after your season? It's the biggest period of your career and you pull crap like that. What is going through your head at that moment. Jesus.

According to SI.com draft analyst Tony Pauline, Burfict was “not good in position drills” at the Sun Devils’ Friday workout, and Pauline acknowledged that he’s “watering that down.” One scout told Pauline he “actually felt bad for [Burfict].”
Burfict managed only 16 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press. With poor measurables and game tape, and suspect on- and off-the-field character, Burfict may struggle to be drafted at all in April.
Well, Robert Griffin III had his pro workout today. As a Redskins fan, I have to say I'm giddy after reading what Ron Jaworksi wrote. Jaworski said that Griffin was making pro quarterback throws all day and that he was accurate and there was zip on the passes. On top of it, Jaworski went on to say that Griffin was going to be a superstar in the NFL. So excited about Griffin.
i want/think carolina goes Michael Floyd at 9th. newton-floyd
Less than a 0% chance that happens. We're going defense all the way. Wouldn't be surprised to see us trade down for an OL either (or another defensive player). While I'd like to add a future #1 WR sometime soon, Smith still has a year or two left in him. Take some mid round WRs for this year and maybe the next year then go for a #1 WR either through the draft or FA in 2-3 seasons.
why isn't there more hype on Mike Martin? Guy was solid for senior bowl week, good size as well. Not sure why players like Worthy are considered much ahead of Martin.

What don't you like about Worthy?
I really like Worthy and have him as one of my top 4-3 DT's available.
also dre kirkpatrick is visiting the valley, so cowboys may get him for safety but this is jenkins contract year. Garret wasn't at stanfords pro day so any chance at us taking DeCastro is pretty much gone

People have questioned his desire and motor, as he didn't perform very well last season but by all accounts was near dominant over the Senior Bowl week. He's also only 6'1, which isn't an ideal size for a DT. I don't know what his arm length is, but I doubt he has ideal length.
Also, not sure Worthy is "much ahead" of Martin. Worthy is a solid 2nd rounder and Martin is on the fringe of the 2nd round. Maybe about 20 picks difference.
Greg Cosell is one of my favorite analysts. His take on the top two QBs in the draft:
Quote:
Cosell said he was impressed with Luck’s game management, his ability “to call plays and make adjustments based on defensive fronts and coverages.” But he was not nearly as taken with his arm. A few excerpts:
“Luck was not a special passer based on film study.”
“Luck had a tendency to lift his back foot off the ground before releasing the ball. That prevented him from driving through his throws and at times negatively impacted his velocity and accuracy.”
“Overall, Luck was not asked to make many tough throws at the intermediate and deeper levels.”
“Luck was an economical player who was at his best as a timing and rhythm, short to intermediate passer.”
In contrast, Cosell wrote glowingly about Griffin’s arm strength:
“He had a very compact and easy delivery with natural velocity. There was a snap to his throws. Many disagree, but in more than 20 years of watching NFL game film, I am a firm believer that arm strength, or put another way, the ability to make tight throws into small windows down the field, is critical.”
“Griffin threw an excellent deep ball, with trajectory, touch and accuracy.”
“He threw effectively out of what we call a ‘muddied” pocket.’ He did not need much functional space to deliver the ball with velocity and distance. Surprisingly, in my 5 game breakdown of Luck, he exhibited a tendency to move too quickly, to leave the pocket too early.”
“The bottom line in my 5 game film evaluation: Griffin is a superior arm talent and natural passer than Luck.”

my bad, I had him mixed up with Still
I too think Worthy is pretty much the top DT available

ok, I was under the impression Martin was more of a 4th round pick
They were coming into the draft without their 1st (Palmer), 2nd (Jones/OL they got in rds 3 and 4 last year), 3rd (Pryor), 4th (Campbell), and a 7th (Curry).
They got compensatory picks in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th rounds today. Realistically, don't expect any starters this season, but at least it adds depth to the organization.
Alshon Jeffery weighed in at 213, had a 36.5'' vert, 10'-2'' broad and a hand timed 40 ranging anywhere from high 4.4s to low 4.5s depending on which scouts time you use.
Probably just got himself back into the top half of the 1st.
