I like the call of putting Theo back out there again tonight. Don't let him dwell too long on that disaster which was last night.

Still trying to figure out why Smithson is scratched? Wasn't it 2 games ago against the Senators that the line of Smithson - Goc - Kopecky was high & mighty???

I'm confused here...

Good start and good energy but they have to get traffic in front of Fleury

Our team defense is terrible. It might be worse than the offense right now.

All the saves Theodore has had to make so far have been on quality scoring chances. Clemmer would've let one in at least.

If there would be a "wtf coach? -award of the year for the coach that causes the most confusion in the fanbase", I bet Dineen would be in the top3 year in year out.

Still look horrible in our own zone. Lots of guys standing around waiting for Theo to bail them out as usual.

Every time Pittsburgh is in our zone they dominate and get an extremely good scoring chance. Every time we are in their zone we can barely muster a shot on goal, or not even get one.

I was just listening to the Pens radio feed. Mike Lang just said that Kopecky is on a 20 game pointless streak. Why on earth is he still getting top 6 minutes??

I like to see Strachan in there tonight. I haven't been very impressed with Ellerby the last few games.

Much better first period tonight. Still need to clean up the defensive zone though.

I think that was a great play by Dupuis... can't fault Soupy on that one.

Rolling only 2 lines. Need to roll all 4 if we are going to stand a chance.

Not exactly true. He had a an assist against Ottawa on Sunday.

Regardless, he's been horrible for a while now.

The key is going to be who scores first and if it's Pittsburgh what will this teams response be.

Agreed, and it shows why the Pens have won so much. All players on the ice are committed offensively and defensively. Multiple backchecks thwarting Panther chances. I wish our guys put in this kind of effort game in game out.

Yeah our team doesn't backcheck like crazy or anything like that. We mostly float back to the defensive zone. These guys are all over the place making life hell for us. Have to respect the blue collar work ethic. Wish we had it more.
