So with all the Richards hate, is Johnny Utah actually correct? As more games go by, he certainly is able to strengthen his argument.

if thats the case we will fail regardless. DL should not be making a draft pick for the kings ever again.

JU is wrong for the simple fact that Simmonds and Schenn would blow here as well. This team's system is ****ed. Change it and guys would produce like they did before being saddled with this sad sack coaching staff and philosophy.

Get rid of DL and his coaches and this team would win the division next season. Even with this SORRY bottom six.

Why are you taking one game as a referendum? You really want to start tallying up minuses over his career as a King?

Everyone is taking on more with the JJ trade, yes. Jeebus.

What is wrong with this team?! There is no possible way we can have at team stacked as ours and still lose like this! Bad system or not, it is impossible for a group like this to not score and close games out. This game made me sick. Datsyuk, Howard, Lidstrom out for them and we still can win an effin game!

Ha, I missed the end of the game but got in my truck and all I heard was the Wings score on Richards turnover....

Enough said.

I don't see anything about the system in the loss tonight. That was all a lack of determination and execution. That is the Kings problem. It doesn't matter what system they play if the players don't play with a certain level of determination and execute when they're on the ice.

Copy and paste this for every one of Utah's arguments.

A bit tongue in cheek but that's how it feels right now. What a bunch of overpaid, don't give a crap losers there are on this team.

I don't either, but after the comments from JJ, I have to believe it's playing a pretty significant role in the troubles of the team.

If I said what I really think about this team I'd be banned for life. Pathetic. Kings don't deserve to make playoffs. Half of Detroit's team is injured. Gutless. Stupid.

Well this looks like it might not be the Kings season.

All the pressure must be making these guys crack. Couple of guys look as if they have no idea it's a playoff race.

That should raise some eyebrows in Management for next year's roster.

Giving Drew 7M is looking like a huge mistake.

Quick's vezina season is going to waste, that is a shame cause he might never have one again.

Richards season has been pretty bad, but the Kings are stuck with him. Just have to hope he turns it around next year.

Carter looks good on the Wing, Love his shoot first attitude.

Let's hope they start another win streak.

I feel like making a bunch of avatars with players faces crossed over.. Unfortunately we're stuck with some of them for the better part of the next decade so I won't.

Doughty has definitely not been himself since winning the gold medal. I don't know whether it's cockiness, being big-headed, he's just not the same.

Richards has been a huge disappointment since his injury man. I know the coaches keep talking about the "other stuff" he brings to the table. Ya, he's a good penalty killer and leader and whatever, but a leader is supposed to lead by example. If he had scored that goal at the end, when he was all alone in the front, we would be in a playoff position right now

Maybe so, but I still don't think the trade is justifiable. We gave up too much for him. He's not worth it.
