3 games is ok I guess. Maybe 5 would be better because it was so unnecessary

How the hell wasn't that even called a penalty?

Just pointing out, as have several others, that it's the same for all teams. It's not like the Caps are the only players who've been subjected to hits that haven't resulted in the same punishment that's been given to others. There's no exclusivity or conspiracy here against the Caps, which is the impression many are getting is being alleged from some of the posts in this thread.

Taking the tact used by others here, perhaps because the player being hit was a rookie playing for a non-traditional, southern market team that's not doing well in the standings this year.

Or maybe the on-ice officials in this league are simply borderline incompetent, and that's being generous.

Green actually hit someone for once instead of being on the receiving end and he gets this?

Hope it doesn't turn him into a sheep, rest up Green, cya down the stretch.

I totally get why Caps fans are upset with NHL (Shanahan) and consistency issues when it comes to rulings. It is a league wide issue, however, not just with the Caps. I think Caps fans know this but are just frustrated.

That being said Green is lucky it was only 3 games, it probably should have been 5 IMO.

Yeah this guy is right. Its just like if someone breaks into your house, and they are never caught, you can break into other peoples house with impunity.

Clearly this suspension is evidence that the league, players, refs, and opposing fans are out to get the Capitals. So far the plan is working boys, lets keep it up...
