has anyone ever dealt with them?
alternatively, has anyone ever framed a jersey by themselves?

Vestate is kind of a wholesaler with low quality materials...not your best option. I shopped around a lot in Edmonton and found that this place near Capilano called Frame of Mind has been around forever and does really amazing work.
If you have a signed jersey and want to properly preserve and display it, go there: you'll get a perfect job with way better materials for a comparable price to Michaels...and a pro will be doing it instead of some kid. The owner there is really particular about his work...I've always been more than happy, and I've had a few done there. He showed me some lower cost options too if you don't want to go the custom route.
