I would consider our NCAA prospects weak except for Niskanen and McKnight who is having somewhat of a break-out season. It's Niskanens first season in the NCAA so I dont see him as one of our weaker NCAA prospects.

Speaking generally but Nika was clearly a reach as a #1 although he could still pan out
Niskanen played great on Saturday v.s Wisconsin(he also had an assist in both friday and saturday) and the UMD announcer's last few games have been raving about how good he has been playing over the last few games.

I think he will be a top 4 d-man on our team no problem. I watched at the WJC and he played as well as he could have for the icetime he was given. He is already in the Top 3 at UMD and this is his first year.
