I can't even stand to look at Marchand, let alone want him on a team I cheer for. Yuck!

50/50 poll, nice

I'd take Marchand. Not only is he a pest, he can hold it down on the top line of one of the best teams, and put up nice numbers.

And Subban had his first game-breaking moment holding down both Crosby and Malkin during the 2010 playoffs. He, too, plays against the top lines, night in, night out.

Subban can destroy people with clean hits, and last year he could score, maybe he'll eventually get that scoring touch back. Plus he seems like a pretty nice guy, the whole fist bump thing he exchanged with Larsson.

One of his problems is when he decides to try and be flashy rather than keep it simple. I haven't watched many Habs games this season, 1 a week usually when I'm home on weekends. And the only time I remember him doing that was in the first week of the season against Colorado, if he's improved on that, that's a plus.

Apart from Thomas, Marchand was probably Boston's best player in the SCF. Amazing top line talent who sometimes makes stupid decisions, but lots of players do so why should he be singled out?

Judging by the evenhanded responses from both sides clearly it is in fact close and could go either way.
