Some habs fans? The guy is no longer on the injury list. Do you know what that means? He is available to play. Even when he was near a return in December he still was on the active injury list.

I am not expecting anything great from him right away. He hasn't played for what 2 years?

Maybe ease him into the lineup, give him PP time a few shifts 5 on 5. No need to play him 16+ minutes imo.

i meant he's closer than he's been all year long but there no signs of him ready to jump back in games yet...

why not keep him on ir until he's ready to play?

Good news. Now he can play some games with us and at the World Championships to get his confidence and timing back and be 100% ready at the start of training camp next year. That or his knee doesn't hold up and we know he's never coming back, and we can plan our offseason accordingly and get another defenseman. Either way, it's a step in the right direction.
