TSN has Crosby "Not in tonight, but may play Thursday" as their Top headline in the NHL section, and the fact Markov is playing tonight doesn't even have a thumbnail, its like the fourth lowest on the news bar on the right.

Not biased or anything, while they are at it maybe they can fill us in as to what Crosby's cereal of choice is on game days and make that a top headline?

This Markov things has been nothing short of a ****in joke. Yes, he will play the worlds, and yes these last games of the season will be a tune-up for him.

The russian International hockey team has gotten more out of markov then the habs have gotten out him in the playoff's, his whole career. If you don't think so, look up his playoff numbers since day one, with the habs.

For last two years, markov has become more of a distraction for the team then anything else. What could turn into be the biggest joke of all, is the contract he got last summer.
Didn't see any fair play in that signing, it was more like, i have the club over a barrell,
I will grab whatever bucks i can, and he did just that.

Some will argue that some other teams would have paid him that money or more, my answer to that is , i don't think for one second he would have passed a medical !!!

I'm happy because he will be very rusty and will not really make an impact to get make us loose our good pick, but it will still be great a very important to the guy confidence to actually play this season that's much more positive for working out all summer and coming back stronger next season.

People forget that he was a top 5 dman in the league. And he still have played in every season unlike some players that still came back strong. Forsberg, Roberts, Sullivan have missed complete seasons.

Go cheer for another team... You seem to hate everyone....

I will say I would like to see the Habs limit his ability to play for Russia in non-Olympic events. Markov's contract is not insured, therefor I think it's reasonable for the team to take precautions to protect their investment.

I miss Brian Savage. He was one of my favorites. To my knowledge his 49 hasn't been worn by anybody since he left

Hey there is still a 0.06% chance so.......

Maybe Marky is our lucky charm, and we can get rid of the bad luck that has been plaguing this team during this sad, sad season.

Here's some numbers:

Rangers were the 8th place team last year with 93 points. Habs currently have 62 point with 14 GR. If the Habs were to win all 14 games, they would have a total of 90 points, which would be 3 points out of last year's final playoff team. Habs are currently 10 points out with 6 teams in between them and 8th.

Just forget playoffs. Focus on the future. Bring on that top 3 draft pick!

Come on now. Not really surprising that Crosby gets a ton more coverage.
