Both of Minni's goalies are better than Theo at this point in the season. I don't see why they would want to take a step backwards.

I'll repeat my wonderful joke:
We're not giving up our No.1 goalie, Huet is here to stay.

I don't consider Fernandez any better than Huet.
For pete's sake, ship Theo for a big line 2 centre(who can score, not like Bonk),
call up Danis.

Huet, number1
Danis, number 2

What do you think?

Would it involve Gaborik? There have been rumblings about Gaborik leaving Minny.

Huet is a very good goalie, but Fernandez is the same type of goaler a good 40 game goalie...he cannot play 60-70 games????

But acquiring Fernandez means that BG have no faith in Danis.....

Maybe this summer if Huet not considering coming back!!!!

Look also on the OTHER side, what Wild needs. The last thing they are looking for is a #1 goalie especially an overpaid one (the wilds was always on a budget). A trade involving Theo and the Wilds is a big NO from the wilds side (unless the habs are willing to give good prospects to compensate for theos contract in which case it is a NO for the habs).

is MARIAN GABORIK contract due the end of this season?

was nasty last time and he ended up settling for a 3 yrs 10 million dollar contract . you all seen him and lamaire on the bench latley correct?

wonder how much gabby demands this time to resign? 5 million?

just thinking out loud . all i was saying is it wouldnt suprise me jaques and mario would be very willing to take theo, ribero and sundstrom

look at alexendre daigle " mr write off" himself reserected his career under jaques .

all im trying to say

Yeah but daigle was very cheap, that is why they took a chance.

I don't think we should trade Huet!! Maybe they might be interested in our #2 goalie, Theodore

We could scout some hockey leagues in Mexico and sign a goalie named Jesus (pronounced Hey-Zeuz) Martinez or something

just because Minnesota wants a number 1 goalie doesn't mean their interested in Theodore, Montreal is not the center of the NHL world as you would like to think.

Manny = UFA end of season
Roloson = UFA end of season
Huet = UFA end of season

Seeing as some teams have already shored up the goaly situation early (Dalls, SanJose), maybe Minny wants a top goaler (or potential of returning to top form) now rather than wait for the UFA season when pickings are slim and market ferocious ($), and we all know how Minnesota loves to spend on the UFA market...

Food for thought.

Oh, and Lemaire really does not like Gaborik...(dont wake me please)

It would be the bizarro world if Minny would trade for a goalie.

Maybe they should trade all their skaters and have 6 goalies on the ice at any given time. They would tie every game 0-0.

If we trade with them, it will not be Theo. Think.....uniting the brothers.... that makes for good marketing for Minny.....

I would expect Sundstrum to be exactly what Minnesota is looking for...?
