The OT thread during the State UNC game was more lively than this.

That's probably because they refs haven't screwed this game up.........yet

But I do hear the NHL wants TB to win

Undoubtedly. Staal was just looking at Thompson as he got the puck and scored.

I'm watching this game on my living room TV, not the little one by my desk in my room. Obviously, the lack of me is making the posting slow.

Obviously.

Allen is behind the goalline, then Gleason randomly decides to go below the goalline. It's never good to have both defensemen behind the goalline.

Tampa's guys with some fantastic insight during the intermission:

If the Thompson-Hall-Wyman line is keeping Staal playing in his own zone, Staal is not getting shots on goal.

LaRose has had a great game. Screened the goalie on the first goal, had a good play on the 2nd, and a nice intercept chance there.

Didn't notice both dmen below the line.

Staal was still kind of floating around though, all he had to do was physically engage or mark Thompson more closely and the goal doesn't happen. Obviously on Gleason as well (again, didn't notice the first time), but the marking by Staal was poor to say the least.

"Commodore's STILL got a tattoo of the Stanley Cup on one of his ankles."

- Tripp Tracy

Wait a minute, Tripp, you mean he STILL has it? After all this time? How did it stay that long?

Nice shift by the third-line, just wish they could've turned it into a scoring chance.

Not surprised that Tripp doesn't fully comprehend the concept of a tattoo. Didn't a few other players get the same tattoo as well? I thought I heard about a group of them getting them done at the same time.

Staal's line is getting really bad about turnovers in their own zone.

Wow. Cannot believe we didn't score there.

What a move by Larose.
