While I have faith in our efforts to tank, I must admit that I fear that our "lack of talent" may just be way too talented to tank properly. Maybe we need to dig into our past to help solidify our teams status as a top 3 pick this draft. I hear this guy is been keeping busy

bring on the pain!

side note: bored at work, looking at our team throughout the years to see where some people went/been. Nearly fell off my seat laughing when I seen this guy played a game after being retired for so long lol

Habs on the other hand are going through the motions but FWIW Habs fans I think you guys are **WAY** too down on the team and the future still looks very bright for Les Canadiens.
Carey Price made 37 saves last February in Vancouver and the Habs won 3-2.

"I really wanted that puck. That was the only one I've wanted all year," Price said. "I've watched the Canucks my whole life being from B.C., and getting an opportunity to play against them and actually win here is pretty special."

I just hope Markov did't lose his killer sniper vision on the powerplay.

The last time Markov played we had the following lineup

Centers: Gomez, Plekanec, Halpern, Lapierre
Wingers: Cammalleri, Gionta, Moen, Kostitsyn, Darche, Pouliot, Eller, Pyatt
Defencemen: Spacek, Gorges, Hamrlik, Gill, Subban, Markov
Goalies: Price, Auld

The ones in bold are the ones who are no longer on the team (obviously)

These are the players we've added since then. (H) means they were in Hamilton

Pacioretty (H), Kaberle, Bourque, White (H), Desharnais (H), Emelin, Geoffrion, Palushaj, Cole, Staubitz, Campoli, Nokelainen, Weber (H), Budaj, Leblanc, Engqvist

All this to say that the team Markov last played with was much different than the team we currently have. Chemistry is something players have to continuously work on so if he's off with his chemistry it could be because he's never played with half the team.

Anyway, I think he'll do just fine. He'll have limited icetime, but I'm sure he won't look too much out of place. And let's look for him on the first wave of the PP alongside Subban.

So, the question is, which Canuck will injure Markov?

Just hope it's not a Salo-Markov collision. The game will be delayed an hour while they pick up all the pieces and figure out which ones belong to which guy.

Well, I hope Markov is "good and gone"... for the remainder of this season. He can bounce back next year, when we don't need to fail.

OT: I'm pretty excited about this game cause I hate vancouver and would love nothing more than to light up luongo tanking aside. So the off topic part thats making me even more excited is that I just heard the song where the streets have no name by U2. I remember hearing that song a few yrs back mainly in the playoffs as their pre intro song. I had chills today thinking about it hearing that song watching the players in the tunnel focused and ready to go. Anyone else remember this and does anyone have a favorite intro song for the habs? Please share.

Well if he does play, I hope he plays well. Lord knows we'll need him next year if we want to go anywhere.

I think Carey Price just coined the stylistic phrase "cowboy pimp."

Doc Holliday (Val Kilmer) from Tombstone. Too bad Price doesn't have the mustache anymore.

Markov saute sur la glace avec le reste de l'équipe pour la période d'échauffement. 483 jours plus tard.

I definitely wasn't going to, but with Markov back tonight I am definitely tuning in to see how he does or if he implodes/spontaniously combusts or something.
