Just got off the phone with my tickey rep. The Bulls are unveiling their jerseys on March 7th. Also, is this a possible leak of their logo?
I met the President/Coach on Saturday, and he hooked me up with a VIP invite to the unveiling on Wednesday, plus a business mixer that evening. I'm going to see how I can help out on some of the fan development and charity stuff.

That's awesome, Doug. Here are the jerseys for anyone interested.
Take an ECHL player and put him in the NHL and he wouldn't look out of place? I like the ECHL but I call shenanigans.
The carer ECHLer? The majority of ECHL players? I'll agree.
But in the case of extensive depth (or lack of AHL farm team), genuine NHL prospects end up in the ECHL.
Devan Dubnyk of the Oilers for one. Played a couple of seasons with ECHL Stockton (including the one year the Oilers did not have an AHL affiliate -- they selected to send Dubbie down to ECHL so he'd get a lot of ice time, rather than trying to find a "shared" AHL affiliate where he'd most likely take a back seat to the primary affiliate's goalie prospect(s)).
Sometimes players "cut their teeth" in the "E" and move up to the "A" before they get to the NHL.
The ECHL is very proud of every prospect that makes it to the NHL.
I guess I had a different interpretation. I will not contest that the ECHL is a great development ground and can lead to the NHL. I took it as grab a guy that's playing in San Fran one night and have him suit up in San Jose the next and he won't look out of place.
I remember all too well Mr. Quick. His first pro win (and goal) came against the Ice Pilots. Despite that fact, been a fan of his since that day.

Maybe.
Sharks used ECHL Stockton (after they affiliated) as a "cap dumping ground" for a couple of waiver-exempt players (90+ minutes by car to Stockton, vs 5+ hours cross country to AHL affiliate).
So, it could be that a kid or two would be sent down for the day or whatever.
There's also the possibility of an "emergency" call up situation where someone would be called up due to illness/or family situation. (Where the player may or may not have a good game. If a goalie, he may just be sitting on the bench, except for warmups.)
The Sharks have had a handful of situations in the past few years where a goalie went down and they had to scramble to get a replacement (Jordan White, anyone? JP Anderson called up from CHL).
