Let's win at home. Time to prove this team has balls to come back from a bad stretch. All good teams go through this

There was a 5-4 SOL to Ottawa back in Oct.

SO don't mean anything. We haven't allowed 5 goals in regulation or OT, including EN.

This foot issue isn't going away. They should rest him until he's 100%. Same with MDZ.

Ugh, so no MDZ or Callahan again. Just when we need them the most they're out. Awesome

This wouldn't be a bad time to see what Zuccarello can do.
We're in a slump and have some key players injured. He could help the PP and add some secondary scoring. I don't know why he'd be worried about him being a liability with John Scott playing minutes - that guy can't play hockey...

Many ppl on twitter saying MZA is recalled.

Source is one of his buddies playing in the Norwegian hockey league. Should be legit.

At this point, I am completely okay with this.

Zucc isn't going to make up for everything Callahan brings, but he's probably the only one in Hartford who will come close to making up for Callahan's offense.

Where do you guys see this? Wouldn't he have been listed on the transactions page on the AHL website if that were the case?

Callahan has a bone bruise. That's a very painful injury. Its the 3rd year in a row Callahan has gotten hurt late in the season. Knee injury in 10. Broke his foot blocking a Chara shot in 11. Got hurt again blocking another shot.

Zuke called up? I definitely hope so. Fedotenko isn't cutting it in the top 6. We already have a 4th line full of offensively inept bums and our 3rd line scores in about every 20th game. Boyle has been a disappointment.

I will root like crazy for Zuke if the rumours are true, we badly need more offense and especially a better PP. Consistently being without two of our top 4 D-men - and most of the time another top 6 - basically the entire season has really hurt us. Considering this, we've done very good so far, but now heavy fatigue is becoming an issue, especially with Tort's heavy demand on hard work every game.

Being without Callahan will definitely hurt us, hopefully Zuke can at least cover offensively for him.
