Thanks.

No use going on a rampage for a 9 - 10th place, get top 5 even 6 pick and hope Kessel notches 40 and stays at least ppg. Imagine scoring 40 with Bozak as your centre, no offense to Bozak though.

definitely. i just assumed those two weren't in because of injury, but if they're healthy, i'd put Armstrong & Brown in, and take one of Lombardi or Crabb out, and Ashton.

Mac - Grabovski - Frattin
Lombardi - Connolly - Crabb
Rosehill - Steckel - Ashton

Carlyle's offensive lines just look all around hideous to me.
Carlyle'll be switching up the lines from here on out, looking for the best possible fits. I'd like to see Connolly on the RW more than anything.

I'm all on the TankMobile..I don't cheer for the team to lose. I just hope they do. Much different. If they win, so be it, there are 14 games left, they're going to win some games along the way.

I like to think of the big picture. We're stuck in mediocrity for too long. All this place can think about every October is if the Leafs can get the 8th and last spot in the East...and it makes me sick.

After all these years of missing the playoffs we're still gunning for 8th. I don't want that. I'd rather bottom out, get a stud, and aim for higher than 8th.

It's funny. Just a month ago I wasn't all that interested in the draft and had the likes of Brendan Gaunce, Jarrod Maidens, and Ryan Rupert saved in my User CP notepad as the guys to look out for. Now it's Galchenyuk & Grigorenko

you have no idea how broken up i am, the other years i was all prepared for not making the playoffs this year was different...the collapse just really hurt me.

tbh my head knows the chance of us making the playoff is gone but this is such an odd year that a very good streak can shoot us into the playoffs but heart knows its not possible.

Absolutely. I expected this team to fight for 8th down to the final week of the season. They were exceeding my expectations for 2/3rds of the season and since then it's been nothing but heartbreak. I feel you brotha

It's even more depressing when you think Ottawa can still win the Northeast division.

I dont care about ottawa, they are damn lucky because they actually had a goalie to back them up, they had veterans to lead the group when they were down and also had a first line center along with it who decided to show up this year, three things we didnt have at all this season, just grinded till we just fell in feb.

How many think we'd be in the playoffs if Sundin were here? I cant help but think even his locker room presence would be huge for this young group. It's a shame really, I still cant believe this collapse. Fully expected to be in the race too, it's amazing really.

Yeah man. I think most of us thought that they'll keep playing around .500 for the rest of the season after the ASG. Nobody saw such an epic collapse coming.

Kind of what we have been trying to educate the people on who are slurping all over the Senators.

I completely agree with how Ottawa is doing their retooling. It doesn't matter how you get your young prospects and players, as long as you can put them in an environment to win every game it'll help them in the long run. They have their greatest captain in their history on the team along with other vet's on the team to guide their youngsters.
The equivalent for our team would have been keeping Sundin and Roberts and letting them guide the young players. We are missing that type of leadership and imo that's why our team has been so fragile ever since Sundin left.
