Well ... it seems 25% of you think "it's OVER" so why bother with a GDT right ?
and it seems another 25% of you WANT the Kings to lose and to go through another 5 + year rebuild and to completely gut the team, management and ownership ... so why bother with a GDT ?
and another 25% ... well you never cared about or appreciated my GDT's anyway, so why bother with them, you won't miss them.
... and lastly, to you 25% on here that DO like my GDT's and will miss them ... look at the other 75% and blame them for this !

Good point. Hell, just put some of this crowd in the locker room before the game with a few "words of inspiration" and I think we could more or less guarantee a win tonight.
I don't think it's over, and I think there's a very vocal and OVERLY negative faction on this board that tries to ruin things for the rest of us.
Frankly, it's the people who overreact to anything that isn't drinking the "we're gonna with the Cup this year, just watch" Kool-aid who are better described as "very vocal" and "ruining things for the rest of us". I'm a fan - I'm not a member of a cult, and I'm not a cheerleader. I'm going to react negatively to negative circumstances and situations, and based on the tendencies the team has exhibited over the last 68 games - not put on blinders and attack anyone else who doesn't also have the same pom-poms in their hands.
Frankly, there's been more vitriol from the people trying to get the "negative" people to shut up than there has EVER been from the "negative" people. Some of you who are trying to suppress viewpoints need to take a long hard look in the mirror, IMO.
Oh Puck! Haters gonna hate, let it roll off. Kings will still make playoffs!! Also, this game is on nationally up here in Canada, super excited. Gonna be a great game for the Kings, put them right back in the playoffs! Still believe Carter is helping this team. Go KINGS!!!

I've been plenty negative when the situation has called for it, but then there are people who love to wallow in the negativity and proclaim their prescience of how much they knew all along the Kings would fail - and when they do, they bask in their own self-righteous glory and point out to anyone who will listen that they accurately predicted the season's downfall. That's the faction I was referring to. There's a lot of people that are here to post about the team they love and not get lectured by the know-it-alls about how ****ed we are.
